Lord Krishnas Message to Arjuna Dharma Righteousness

Lord Krishna's message to Arjuna was crisp and clear... uphold Dharma (righteousness) under all circumstances of life. Even if one had to defy one's own family, well-wishers and friends... re-establishing Dharma (righteousness) was his duty... the call of day! Arjuna to follow dictates of Lord Krishna was binding that needed no further explanations!

When decay in society reaches its lowest ebb (a point of no return)... when all values of human life seemed lost for ever... it is in such times an avatar of era (God manifest in human form) surfaces. The coming of Lord Krishna was not all of a sudden. It was mandated by spiritual powers of cosmos that be.

Truthfulness had been bruised to the hilt! There was no further pardoning that was called for! Arjuna had to lift arms against troublemakers... his own cousins, teachers and close relatives. He represented the entire nation... his duty as a king was to serve mankind even at the cost of his own family, relatives and friends!

Lord Krishna admonished King Arjuna to lift arms against forces of evil! It was a fight between Dharma (righteousness) and adharma (lawlessness)! Personal matters... family matters never prevailed in such circumstances. What ultimately mattered was... re-establishing Dharma (righteousness) against all odds.

Like a commoner... King Arjuna was hell-bent in not fighting close relatives and friends in the battle of Mahabharata. It was at this stage Lord Krishna imparted to King Arjuna doctrine of Bhagavad Gita! Lord Krishna was an embodiment of God Almighty (God manifest in human form)... an avatar of his era! He knew what was right for King Arjuna.

Every 3500 to 5000 years society comes full circle! The end of Kali Yuga culminates in a fight to finish between evil and good forces of nature! During times of Lord Krishna... it was a fight between evil forces of dharma and adharma... a fight between King Arjuna (a benefactor of mankind) and King Duryodhana (the evil one)! Though King Duryodhana was first cousin of King Arjuna but he always sided wrong!

Supported by whimsical Shakuni mama (maternal uncle)... King Duryodhana thought otherwise! King Duryodhana was also supported by famed teacher Dronacharya and maternal grandfather Bhishma Pitamah... two great archers of their times! King Duryodhana thought that King Arjuna would never fight his teacher and maternal grandfather... he was wrong in his surmise!

The evil forces of nature sometimes seem winning but end shots are always called by forces of Dharma (righteousness)! King Arjuna was destined to win. The imparting of teachings of Bhagavad Gita to King Arjuna by Lord Krishna was ordained by God Almighty. None could have interfered in such matters... not even God Almighty... it was all predestined!

In times of present strife mankind faces almost similar situations as existing in Dwapar Yuga of King Arjuna! Instead of Lord Krishna... people await with fervor coming of Bhagavan Kalki... an avatar of present era (God manifest in human form)! The coming of God Almighty is ordained from times to come. To counter evil forces of nature... coming of a messiah is the only way out!

In Hinduism... teachings of Bhagavad Gita imparted by Lord Krishna to King Arjuna in the battle of Mahabharata are considered prime! Not even a single impurity exists in all the 700 shlokas (verses) contained in Bhagavad Gita! The sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is above all sacred scriptures existing on mother earth... the summum bonum of spirituality!

Lord Krishna came about 3600 years earlier before now! The teachings of Bhagavad Gita were applicable during that time... the times of Pandava and Kaurava Kings! It is an irony of fate that the teachings of Bhagavad Gita are still applicable today and shall remain applicable until end of humanity... until mankind faces dissolution of whole cosmos (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)!

With passage of time... the teachings of Bhagavad Gita never get diluted! For a true enlightened one... catching gist of 700 shlokas verses of Bhagavad Gita becomes like ABCD! The teachings of Bhagavad Gita just cannot be understood literally... one needs reading in between the lines! Re-establishing Dharma (righteousness) in present times is the call of day.

When opportune moment arises... Bhagavan Kalki would surface in all its glory! Thereafter... it would never be looking back. The present phase of humanity would become passé and the society would usher into a new era... new golden age... the golden period in history of mankind!
