Lord Shiva - Attributes God Almighty - Lord Krishna

You are a traveler of religious path and all my websites relate to spirituality. As detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva were only attributes of God Almighty. All the three Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva existed only in Hindu mythology... never otherwise! No one by the name of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu or Lord Shiva ever existed on mother earth in physical form.

Spirituality... path detailed in Bhagavad Gita only believed in Brahman, the one and only God Almighty... creator of entire cosmos!

Any reference to a mythological deity carried no meaning in spirituality. When Lord Shiva did not exist in persona... all physical experiences related to Lord Shiva carried no meaning. Concept of Lord Shiva is used in Hindu mythology only as a metaphor... an allegory to explain something! Traveling path of spirituality meant reaching the hidden underlying meaning.

In times of Lord Krishna... battles were fought with bows and arrows! In present times do we expect to fight our enemy in the same way? In earlier era... science had not yet evolved as it is now and whatever practices were in vogue suited that period. In present times practising polygamy is a crime... a sin! As detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism, the sexual relationship was only meant for progeny... never pleasure!

The concept of Lord Krishna playing with gopis is also metaphorical! For one who was an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form)... physical relationships carried no meaning! The status of an avatar... a savior, messiah is even much above human gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed!

Lord Krishna was a personality that could be understood only by a serious traveler of spirituality... never otherwise! Travelers of religion can never understand stature of Lord Krishna in totality. Why quote instances of Kings of earlier era. We must always live in present. Whatever was applicable today must be followed. We must never brood over past, something that could never be revisited! We must always remember we had one life to live... the present earthly domain of 70 to 80 years of life! Whatever our wants and desires... we have to fulfill them only in present life!

As ordained in Bhagavad Gita the ultimate goal of human life was reaching god. Unless we pursued spirituality as our goal of life... nothing else mattered!

 Full text of query: My son asked a question and I would like to receive an answer from you. 1) He said Lord Shiva had bhang so why is it wrong for people to drink. 2) Lord Krishna had many gopis to play with, and Kings in olden times had many wives.. so why is it necessary for man to have only one wife? Please help.
