Why are
we in this world... rather why God created this Cosmos is a great mystery in itself!
The essence is understood by every god realized person but this fact cannot be
disclosed to the community for none would understand the same. Whatever Lord
Krishna stated to Arjuna in the battle of Mahabharata
between Pandavas and Kauravas (and which is available to Humanity in form of the
doctrine of Bhagavad Gita) could only be understood by Arjuna and Arjuna
alone. There was none existing on Mother Earth who could understand meaning of
words spoken by Lord Krishna.
Only
after a person reaches his last manifestation... the 8.4 millionth manifestation
in the cosmic life cycle, the essence of life... the relationship between an Atman
and Brahman becomes clear.
Even
a minute before self realization (the people in west call it enlightenment) nothing
is known to one... sooner one becomes self realized by the grace of God (having
crossed the threshold of cosmic life)... the whole crux of life is laid bare.
It is as if every god realized soul had written all the sacred Scriptures existing
on Mother Earth. Whatever is contained in Bhagavad Gita, the
Upanishads and various other Scriptures available on Mother Earth including
Bible and Koran becomes clear like ABCD.
Indirectly the concept is clear but whether it can be digested by the seeker of
Spirituality...
is dependent upon ones intelligence. The prime reason why Adi Shankaracharya called
the whole creation (the mighty cosmos) as work of Maya (veil of illusion) by God
Almighty? And why he did so becomes clear from the fact... the whole Cosmos however
far our thinking goes... remains out of grasp!
Once
we are fixed on the fact that cosmos does not have a boundary... all seems to
be an illusion created by God Almighty. If we presume that cosmos does have a
boundary then what beyond. If there is another boundary beyond the Cosmos then
what beyond! The chain is unending. Hence Adi Shankaracharya interpreted the whole
creation as work of Maya (veil of illusion) created by God Almighty.
This
brings us to the fact whether there is a Creator at all... and if at all there
is a Creator then who created the Creator himself. I receive so many queries on
this issue itself. The whole phenomenon points towards the fact that the whole
creation does not have a beginning. Still, the existence of God cannot be denied.

Now I shall
explain how cosmos gets created. As per Bhagavad Gita let us assume a point in
evolutionary process when whole cosmos is about to collapse (complete disintegration
of the cosmos is about to occur... aka Pralaya in Hinduism). Now what after that
collapse? All atmans (souls) existing in the Cosmos in whatever stage of manifestation...
all realize God and get liberated forever from cycle of birth
and death.
Every
single soul having come back to its pristine pure form... The mass of whole cosmos
as per sacred Bhagavad Gita reduces to half the size of a thumb. And what does
that mean? It simply implies cosmos has gained complete purity. Complete dross
having removed all atmans (souls) in the cosmos combine together to half the size
of a thumb (this aspect is made absolutely clear in Bhagavad Gita). Does it mean
the volume of all purified atmans at a given point of time in the cosmos is just
the size of half a thumb? Yes... it is so!
And what it indicates... it simply indicates the definition of God Almighty. One
grain of sand is an Atman (in purified state) and the whole mound (all purified
Atmans) Parmatman. Defining God... the collective power of all purified atmans
in the cosmos at a given point of time (which occurs only at the time of dissolution
of cosmos) is what we call God Almighty.
Now
this massive energy we call God Almighty... unable to sustain for long explodes
with a
big bang. The sooner the explosion occurs all atmans scatter all over
the Cosmos with speeds beyond the comprehension of human beings. This confirms
the saying that God is everywhere. Every atman soul is a miniscule form of God.
When atmans scatter all over the Cosmos... we definitely can say God is everywhere.
Like a rolling ball
of honey that collects dust while rolling... all atmans (souls) in their purified
state at the time of big bang now gather impurities on the way. The journey of
these atmans goes on and on. It shall come to an end only after every atman comes
back to its pristine pure original form and for this the atman soul that cannot
purify itself has to manifest body after another.
And the Cosmos is created. After billions of years sooner the atman soul finds
a body like Mother Earth that is conducive for germination of Atman... a Jiva
(living being) is born. The first manifestation of Atman is as an amoeba (single
cell formation) and it further evolves into multi-cell formation and the evolutionary
process starts.
After
millions of manifestations comes the stage of insect life, then plant life and
next animal life. By the time the last stage in the animal form is achieved a
total of 7.3 million manifestations have already occurred in the life of an atman
the soul within for in the human form itself there are about 1.1 million types
of manifestations. The total journey is completed in 8.4 million manifestations
(a total journey of 96.4 million earthly years)... a long journey indeed!
Once
an atman soul reaches the manifest stage of a human being... the highest of all
manifestations... only as a Human Being can an atman soul gain its original pristine
pure form. Only in the human form can one gain salvation (moksha in Hinduism)
and unless this stage is reached no atman soul becomes free from the cycle of
manifestations.
The body of a human being is an asset for Atman and not vice versa for it is our
atman the soul within that has taken the body and never otherwise. And why is
it that Atman cannot purify itself... why does it need a body... why the creation
of Cosmos at all?
Explaining
the purification process in mining we would realize that one KG of pure gold in
a lump of hundred KG of gold ore could not separate itself. It needs help of the
mining machinery to drain out the impurities contained within the ore. Slowly
this lump of hundred KG of gold ore reduces to 95 KG. And what this implies? It
means that initially one KG of pure gold was present in hundred KG of gold ore
and now after 5% impurities have been washed away one KG of pure gold is present
in 95 KG of gold ore.
This
journey of purification continues and come stages when one KG of pure gold is
existing in 75 KG of gold ore, 65 KG of gold ore, 50 KG of gold ore, 35 KG of
gold ore and finally complete dross having removed we get a lump of one KG of
pure Gold. This purified Atman (soul devoid of 99% impurities) is what we call
a purified Atman soul. In the case of an atman soul... the removal of 99% impurities
requires a total journey of 8.4 million manifestations starting from amoeba to
the form of a human being and a total cosmic journey of 96.4 million earthly years.
The process of purification
of atman soul... the removal of dross from within is possible by process of karma.
It is Karma performed by every being that makes it possible for atman the soul
within to continue its journey forward. As we perform so shall be the next manifestation.
If the
residual Karma of past lives is so that in present life we get birth in the house
of a cobbler then it is not possible that we be born in the house of a king. Yet,
within present life even if we are born in the house of a cobbler it is possible
to marry the daughter of a King. Every human being has the power to shape his
destiny by performing the requisite Karma. As we sow so shall we reap... nothing
less or more! We cannot expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree.
The
concept of rebirth does not exist in the cosmic system. The Atman does not take
a rebirth. It only manifests one body after another depending upon the residual
Karma. If our Karma in present life demands we be born as an animal in next manifestation
then even God Almighty cannot change that. And having taken birth as an animal
and by practicing a virtuous life it is possible that this animal manifests the
form of a human being in very next life. All is dependent upon karma we perform
in our daily life.

I want to know why
we are here?What's the reason behind it? whether the concept "rebirth" is a true
