God and Cosmos

Query: When the universe is half the size of a thumb originally - where did that half a thumb originate from? What really is the source of this cosmic energy or even first atom for that matter. No scriputure explains that - they say it is without beginning and without an end which is not a satisfactory answer. Someone/something must have carved the whole universe, the laws of karma etc?

In the whole Cosmos there is only one question that is prohibited to be asked in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita... why in the first place God created the whole Cosmos! What was the need for God Almighty to create a self propagating system! Had God Almighty remained inert... the need for all the living beings to evolve would not have arisen!

The first question that comes to mind is... can God Almighty remain inert of its own! If we truly understand the big bang theory... it becomes absolutely clear that God Almighty... the sum total of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos at a given point of time cannot remain inert under any circumstances! Why?

The moment entire Cosmos collapses and reduces to the size of half a thumb... the cluster of pure cosmic energy we call God Almighty... the sum total of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos unable to retain itself for long in its prime pure state again explodes with a big bang! This gives rise to a new cosmos... a new journey of life!

Does this mean the control of Cosmos is not in the hands of God Almighty... yes, the truth is so! God Almighty is the Creator of the Cosmos yet, the control of entire Cosmos... the creation of the entire Cosmos is not in the hands of God Almighty! If this be the truth... then we have to accept the fact that the whole Cosmos... the whole creation seems to exist from times immemorial... without a beginning and without an end!

Why not we proceed further! If we analyze the present Cosmos we find it does not seem to have a boundary. If we presume it does have a boundary... then what beyond! This proves that the entire Cosmos is a work of fiction... an illusion existing from times immemorial... the prime reason why the entire Cosmos has been termed as an act of Maya (veil of illusion) by Adi Shankaracharya!

As per the doctrine of Maya... the entire Cosmos... the entire creation exists only in the thoughts of God Almighty... the presumed Creator of entire Cosmos... whoever it may be! Truthfully speaking... to define the Creator of the Cosmos is beyond the purview of mankind... the limited power of senses and the mind!

And what does the doctrine of Maya (veil of illusion) say! The theory of Maya as per the Sacred Bhagavad Gita makes it explicitly clear that similar as the existence of life in a dream state... the whole manifest world exists as a thought of God. Beyond God Almighty nothing ever exists in the whole Cosmos.

The doctrine of Maya... the veil of illusion is a closed chapter that can be deciphered only by enlightened ones... much beyond the purview of normal human beings! If we exist... we simply exist! If we are born... we are born! As per the Sacred Bhagavad Gita we are not supposed to question the affairs of his!

Every living being nay every human being is only supposed to enact ones karma... nothing beyond! We simply need to realize the ultimate goal of life and pursue it wholeheartedly! There is nothing much in the hands of human beings other than manifesting our destiny... taking absolute control over destiny and reaching the end goal of life!

However much we fret and fume... the absolute truth of the cosmic system can never be negated! If the Cosmos has been created... if human beings exist... it is for human beings to travel the spiritual path at the earliest. The moment one reaches the end goal of life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... our final query dissolves of its own!

We ultimately realize we were a pawn in the hands of God Almighty... a soul atman on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations and earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! To come to terms with the cosmic system... to rationalize our thinking why not expedite our spiritual journey! Remaining engrossed in trivialities of life... the wanton desires and greed for materialistic riches we are simply delaying the final journey!

The entire ephemeral world... the entire phase of 70 to 80 years of life is but a fleeting moment in the entire span of life of the soul atman... a journey of 96.4 million earthly years! Gaining enlightenment and finally salvation is a very noble experience... something beyond the comprehension of words! Why question Almighty God... why not travel the journey now!
