If man is subject to pain and forces of lust and greed...How can God and Man be
one? If man and God are one, then why can man fall down and break a leg, or be
hungry? God is none of those things.

Whenever
we shape a metal... we initially heat it, beat it... sometimes immerse in cold
water! When heated and beaten... it is time for sufferings! When immersed in cold
water... we experience happiness! Life in the cosmic domain is shaped like that...
so was ordained by God Almighty! It is only by experiencing sufferings we train
self for the journey ahead!
Every
human being while traveling the earthly domain sometimes suffers... at other times
experiences happiness and bliss! Both sufferings and happiness are two sides of
the same coin similar as... we have nights... we also have days! We have God...
we also have Satan with equivalent powers! We have fire... we also have water!
At
any given moment of time... the sum total of the whole Cosmos must always remain
zero. This becomes possible only when equal and opposite forces neutralizes each
other! If God is positive aspect of life, Satan the negative! If fire burns...
water cools down! We recognize day... because we have night! In absence of sufferings...
happiness would not carry any meaning!
It
is sheer ignorance that makes one think God Almighty equivalent of man! God Almighty...
a cluster of unimaginable celestial power is the sum total of all purified souls
atmans in the Cosmos at a given point of time! If a grain of sand is an independent
soul atman... the whole mound God Almighty!
With
the limited power of the senses and the mind... it is beyond the comprehension
of human beings to realize true attributes of God Almighty. Only travelers of
the spiritual path sometimes get momentary glimpses. Life in the cosmic domain
is not what we human beings think. Dominated by a bloated ego... most human beings
think the human journey as end of all!
If
human beings are subject to lust and greed... it is not God Almighty who ordained
it for us! To choose or not to choose is the sole prerogative of individual human
being! If someone falls to lust and greed... it is dependent upon our karma performed!
What of the self-control that can be exercised in such circumstances.
Swami
Vivekananda... the famous disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa never fell for
lust and greed throughout his life! Does it mean... lust and greed never surrounded
him! Exercising self-control requires patience, persistence and perseverance of
the highest order! All serious seekers of spirituality having established absolute
control over ego finally transcend the mortal world... Samsara (worldly life)!
Every human
being has been ordained by God Almighty a travel of 1.1 million manifestations
and an earthly abode of 12.4 million years to reach the stage of enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). Human beings do not reach the
stage of enlightenment that easily! In the last about 150 years amongst 6500 million
people existing on Mother Earth... only two persons gained enlightenment... sri
Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana!
If
we truly desire knowing God... we need traveling the spiritual path! The Sacred
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism contains everything knowable on the path of spirituality!
The knower of Bhagavad Gita finally becomes the knower of all! For all practical
purposes one finally gains omniscience!
Gathering
the pearls of wisdom contained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... every
mortal... every human being can transcend the ephemeral world forever! The doctrine
of Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Lord Krishna is without a parallel! It is
Bhagavad Gita that makes it clear... it is our soul atman within that is on its
cosmic journey and not the human being!
Our
soul atman manifests the human form to work out its karma... remove the dross
impurities within! Similar as impurities within the ore cannot remove of its own...
every soul atman also requires a body to work out its karma! It is only then one
K. G. of pure metal can be extracted from a lump of hundred K. G. of ore!
The
lump of ore being impure soul atman on its cosmic journey... the separated one
K. G. of pure metal... a liberated soul atman! Life in the cosmic domain can never
be understood literally! One needs diving deep into the bottomless pit of spirituality
and extracting those pearls of wisdom following which one finally reaches the
end of cosmic life... the 8.4 million manifestation!

How can God and Man be one, if man is subject to pain, and to the forces of lust
and greed? If man and God are one, then why can man fall down and break a leg,
or be hungry? God is none of those things. So how is it possible that Man and
God are one?
