Do not continue
living in a cocoon of your making! Ignorance is never a bliss! In modern times
we need to keep pace with life... we need to understand the true purport of the
sacred scriptures... the teachings of the enlightened beings... the doctrine of
Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata!
If
in the times of Lord Krishna... the war was fought with bows and arrows... does
it mean we fight our neighbors today with bows and arrows! No sacred Scripture
can ever be understood literally! We need dive deep into the bottomless pit of
Wisdom to gather the hidden pearls of wisdom... the sayings that can never be
understood otherwise.
There
has never been one by the name of Shiva in the history of mankind. Lord Shiva
in Hinduism is an attribute... an attribute that signifies the power of absolute
control... the power of death in the Cosmos! Ultimately it is Lord Shiva that
controls the balance in the cosmic system! Apart from lord Shiva there has never
been anyone like lord Vishnu or Brahma!
Brahma
in Hinduism is the creative attribute of God Almighty! Brahma is considered the
Creator of the Cosmos... the Creator of all human beings nay living beings! Vishnu
is the preserver... the maintainer of the system! Lord Shiva (aka Mahesh) is that
attribute of God Almighty that makes the system go round! Shiva is part of Hindu
Trinity of Gods.
We
pray to Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh not out of fear but for the wonderful creation...
the mighty Cosmos created by God Almighty! Every human being nay every living
being owes its existence to God Almighty! Human being... the highest manifest
stage in the cosmic life cycle makes it a practice to pay obeisance to God Almighty
as and when possible!
God
Almighty is not the form of human beings... it is pure celestial power much beyond
the comprehension of most human beings! It is only when one gains enlightenment
does the complete picture of the Cosmos and God Almighty emerges before one! Gaining
enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) is the end goal
of life... the ultimate goal of life for all human beings!
Everything
in the cosmic system is governed by the doctrine of karma. As we sow so shall
we reap... nothing less or more so says the law of karma! Every soul atman is
governed by the absolute law of karma in every manifestation... in every form
of life! To think of Lord Shiva as a human being... to think that God Almighty
plays active role in his creation is a misnomer.
God
Almighty always acts as a Dhrista (onlooker)! This aspect has been made explicitly
clear in the sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... the doctrine given to mankind
by Sri Krishna! Whether we believe it or not is the sole prerogative of every
individual human being! To believe or not to believe is the biggest question that
haunts most human beings!
Every
single narrative... every ritual is simply praising an attribute of God Almighty!
The goal of every human being always remains reaching the end of the journey...
the 8.4 millionth manifestation when human beings gain enlightenment and finally
salvation. Reaching the stage of enlightenment means reaching the end of spiritual
pursuit!
Having
reached the Mount Everest of spiritual pursuit... nowhere else to go further...
the liberated soul finally gains entry into the abode of God... into the kingdom
of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism).
In
our day-to-day life if we commit a sin we always get many chances of repealing
the same! In the house of God there is ample space for forgiveness at every stage
of life! The whole cosmic system acts like a massive computer system! Whatever
be our karma... accordingly shall be the result! If the residual balance of karma
of present manifestation demands our taking birth in the house of a laborer in
next manifestation... we cannot manifest the form of a prince!
We
simply cannot expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree! Life in the cosmic system
is not complex. It is only when human beings dominated by their bloated ego, the
wanton desires and greed for materialistic riches mix it with their spiritual
yearnings... the whole process appears complex! In present-day it almost seems
impossible to reach the status of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet
Mohammed!
In the
spiritual remain traveling the spiritual path... the uncharted territory is difficult
but not impossible! Whatever be our sin we always get chances to repent provided
we do it sincerely and seriously! Veda Vyasa... The writer of the sacred Bhagavad
Gita was a criminal of the highest order! He committed unpardonable sins beyond
count!
The preaching
of a saint made him change overnight! He realized his fault. He finally became
a spiritual saint of the highest order... the writer of the script of the sacred
Bhagavad Gita! Veda Vyasa did not produce the sacred Bhagavad Gita but only wrote
the script that was in circulation through the word of mouth... Since the time
of Vedas!

Shiva does not forgive... there is no backtracking in the domain of Shiva. If
we indulge... we shall repent in the end. John F. Kennedy let loose his sensual
side... he paid dearly by loosing his life (His association with marilyn monroe
was not liked by many).
Everything
what you mentioned is correct but this above mentioned words are not True He is
the Lord of forgiveness Not like other gods who reap the fruits only if you pray
and punish if you don't follow Shiva is kindness he seeks no medium to be followed
and rituals to be followed as soon he enters your heart all your peeda and dadhra
is gone he blesses those who just visit his temple but if your are devoted to
him in any form he blesses there is a story that a King was his devotee he daily
slept with prostitutes but used to worship lord Shiva once in a week on Monday
that particular day he forgot and slept with the pros women later he realized
that he should have gone to temple his searched the women's entire but there was
not a single Shiva statues so he closed his eyes and imaged lord Shiva in a direction
where the pros women was sleeping his offered flowers to her and lord Shiva accepted
it it a irrelevant place and situation and the flowers thrown on the sleeping
women fell on lords feet this made Parvathi very angry when she questioned lord
Shiva he said who ever comes to me in any form or situation but devotional offers
prayers i shall accept it No Hindu gods are witness for such kind of love and
understanding.
