for me to go into sahaja samadhi once again?
Vijay Kumar:
If I am traveling
from Dehradun to Jaipur and pass via New Delhi... does it mean I have seen New
Delhi. Every human being at different moments of time travels the spiritual path
but only momentarily. Most do it inherently never knowing why it so happens! Most
human beings on Mother Earth fear traveling the spiritual path voluntarily! Why?
As
understood by the masses... the spiritual path takes one away from worldly life!
Dominated by the ego within, the wanton desires and greed for materialistic riches
most human beings on Mother Earth never desire traveling the spiritual path! For
them the spiritual path only belongs to fools... those who simply shun family
life!
The truth
is not so. Traveling the uncharted path of spirituality requires grit and patience
of the highest order! Standing on the first floor of the Empire State building
we simply cannot view the whole of New York. If we truly desire seeing the whole
of New York... we indeed travel to the highest floor and for that we need to tread
the elevator!
In
the spiritual world... the elevator stands for awakening of the Kundalini! It
is only through the path of Kundalini one scales higher brackets in spiritual
life! The awakening of the Kundalini becomes possible by practicing absolute celibacy
for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation.
In
the last about 150 years only two persons amongst 6500 million people living on
Mother Earth reached the level of Nirvikalpa Samadhi... they were Sri Ramakrishna
Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana! Reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi is not
that easy as we contemplate.
For
temporal moments yes, many human beings gain access to the world of Nirvikalpa
Samadhi! It is only a fleeting moment in the life of human beings! For gaining
permanent access to Nirvikalpa Samadhi... for reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa
Samadhi permanently... one indeed needs reaching the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya
jnana)!
Gaining
enlightenment is reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi when one can have a
dialogue with God Almighty on one-to-one basis and that too permanently! Reaching
the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi means reaching the stage of nothingness! When
everything in the Cosmos gets negated through the path of Neti (not this, not
this)... what remains is God Almighty himself!
Reaching the
stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi demands our removing all the dross impurities within
the soul atman. This becomes possible when we travel the path of absolute truthfulness
and all the time. Simultaneously practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period
of 12 years in continuation is an essential must.
The
Shahastra Pushpa (the thousand petalled lotus) within the brain that exists behind
our forehead opens up only when Kundalini awakens fully... never otherwise! The
moment this happens one finally gains enlightenment... becomes omniscient for
all practical purposes! Reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi means our soul
atman having gained absolute purity!
Devoid
of all dross impurities within... the liberated soul atman finally regains its
original pure pristine form. Having transgressed worldly life (aka Samsara in
Hinduism) the liberated soul atman finally gains access to the kingdom of God
(aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). If we desire having glimpses of the spiritual world
momentarily... we can indulge in anything spiritual!
It
is gaining permanent access to the world of God that means something! Reaching
the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi permanently is the essence of life! One finally
reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! Having
reached the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi... one finally gains salvation (moksha)
forever!
Traveling
the spiritual path has its merits and also demerits! On the physical front one
may feel low... feel totally demoralized... out of energy... scared and what not!
Traveling the spiritual path means scaling very high mental frequencies that sometimes
drains our energy as a physical manifest being!
In
the spiritual world it is only the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi that matters! As
in Jainism... the entire Jainism philosophy was presented to mankind by Mahavira...
the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism! Jainism is best recognized by Mahavira alone!
The teachings of the earlier 23 tirthankaras never reached the masses... it was
limited to the individual self alone!
Every
form of Yoga meditation leads one towards the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi! We
need to have a permanent goal in life... what ultimately do we desire out of life
in the present physical manifest form? In absence of an ultimate goal of life
our life is like a rudderless boat going round and round in the ocean! Having
intermittent glimpses of the spiritual world carries no meaning.
Either
we dwell in the physical manifest world or become a spiritual traveler forever!
We definitely need to decide our goal of life. Having a goal in life is journey
half covered! Every serious seeker of spirituality who reaches the end of journey
always had a distinct goal in life... come face-to-face with God Almighty in this
very life!
Swami
Vivekananda... the famous disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa never gained
enlightenment in his lifetime. Why? He never wanted to... when Sri Ramakrishna
Paramhansa asked about his goal of life... he was absolutely clear in his statement.
He replied community service was the goal of his life... he was truly never after
self realization in his lifetime!
Traveling
the path of absolute truthfulness most human beings have momentary glimpses of
the spiritual world! Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why
not travel the spiritual path now! I again repeat... do not hanker after momentary
glimpses of the spiritual world... indulge and thy shall reach stage of enlightenment
and salvation!
Never
fear any experience on the spiritual path! Experiences vary with individuals!
Whatever may be experienced by you may differ with the experience of others. In
the spiritual world... there is nothing to fear at all! During the stage of awakening
of the Kundalini... facing the many hooded black cobra is most scary yet, we all
have to go through the experience!
At
no stage of life we need to see a psychiatrist or any other spiritual healer!
In my own case I had to visit psychiatrists on insistence of my father. I very
well knew within my own heart... I was always right... pursuing the right path!
But my parents thought otherwise. For them traveling the spiritual path means
losing their son in worldly life!
Whatever
circumstances are... never visit a doctor or a psychiatrist for they do not know
anything of the spiritual world! Whenever I explained my experiences to any doctor...
their face kept blank. Traveling the uncharted path of spirituality is different
for every human being. As many human beings... as many paths to spirituality...
as many paths to God can there be!
