I have met so many gurus but none has been convincing. I feel this great thirst
to realize God but do not want it to be a religion based path.Can you suggest!

The thirst to realize
self... to know our inner self... to merge forever with God Almighty exists within
human beings ever since the soul atman manifested the human form! As ordained
by God Almighty... every human being has a total of 1.1 million manifestations
(an earthly journey of 12.4 million years) to reach the stage of enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!
One
can always cut short the spiritual journey by realizing certain truths of life!
In the last about 150 years amongst 6500 million people existing on Mother Earth
only two persons gained enlightenment... they were sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa
and Maharishi Ramana. Realizing God after all is not that simple!
The
moment one gains enlightenment... realizes self... one reaches the end of cosmic
journey... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! Nowhere else to go further... the
liberated soul atman finally enters the abode of God... the kingdom of God (aka
Baikuntha in Hinduism). One can always start on the spiritual path but the pitfalls
of the spiritual path must be absolutely clear!
In
the history of mankind only two ladies till date gained self realization... reached
the end of cosmic journey! They were the famous philosopher Gargi and Maitreyi,
wife of Sage Jnanavalakya... the compiler of Brihadaranakya Upanishad! Both these
ladies had only one desire in life... come across face-to-face with God Almighty
in their lifetime!
God
realization is not gained in the human form! The moment one starts on the spiritual
path... the egoist self dies its natural death! The question of one wanting self
realization via any path other than religion is absolutely ruled out! In the house
of God choices are not made my human beings but the soul atman within!
We
always need to remember it is our soul atman within that has manifested the body
to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within! It is not within
the power of the body to manifest a soul atman! Our soul atman is the ultimate
master and controller of the body and not otherwise! It is our soul atman that
is on its cosmic journey.... not the human being!
Before
starting on the uncharted path of spirituality one needs to decide the ultimate
goal of life! On the spiritual path one day we would not be able to recognize
even our beloved father, mother, brothers and sisters and all those nears and
dears! The whole world simply appears as a family!
Self realization
is not something that needs to be achieved in the human form! It is the end of
the journey itself... the human form! Having reached the level of God realization...
the liberated soul atman finally regains its original pure pristine form! The
potency of God realization can be ascertained from the fact that Swami Vivekananda
in his lifetime never gained god realization!
God
realization was never the goal of a Vivekananda. Why? When Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa
asked Swami Vivekananda what he was truly after... he point blank replied he was
never after god realization! His goal of life was absolutely clear... serving
the community to its best! Traveling the path of God realization in the woman
form is still more difficult!
The
bondage of Moha (attachment) prohibits ladies from traveling the spiritual path!
If we try and understand the cosmic crux of life... our soul atman initially manifested
the form of an amoeba (single cell formation). It further evolved into multi cell
formation... then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the form of
human beings!
Before
reaching the human form the soul atman has already manifested 7.3 million manifestations
in the insect, plant and animal form! In 1.1 million manifestations every human
being is expected to reach the stage of God realization! The journey is long...
the path is really difficult but not unachievable!
Religion
primary assists one in living the ephemeral phase of life... the mortal world...
the life span of 70 to 80 years amicably! On the contrary spirituality helps one
dive deep into the inner world... the world of our soul atman! Walking the spiritual
path every serious seeker of spirituality finally transcends ephemeral life...
the mortal world... gains omniscience forever!
Spirituality
is in no way connected with religion! Religion primarily is a following of enlightened
masters... nothing much to do with gaining enlightenment and salvation. Enlightenment
can only be achieved by traveling the uncharted path of spirituality! Initially
one needs establishing absolute control over five senses and the mind.
Simultaneously
we need to practice absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation!
Only then full awakening of the Kundalini becomes possible. The full awakening
of the Kundalini leads one to the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi when one can have
a dialogue with God Almighty on one-to-one basis!
The
full awakening of the Kundalini is a prerequisite on the path of spirituality.
Awakening of the Kundalini occurs gradually... it is a path without a shortcut!
Practicing celibacy in the present materialistic world is very difficult to be
achieved! Most human beings in life get bogged down by a bloated ego, greed for
wanton desires and materialistic riches!
Establishing
absolute control over five senses and mind becomes possible by following the path
of absolute truthfulness all along in life. The moment this happens... the sweet
small inner voice of our soul atman that seems to come from within our heart becomes
distinctly clear. The voice of our soul atman always guides us on the right path.
Hearing
the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman... I finally gained God realization
in 1993! Establishing absolute control over five senses and the mind is really
difficult... but not impossible! Possessing an indomitable will power exercised
by Winston Churchill with all eggs in one basket... one finally transcends all
barriers of worldly life (aka Samsara in Hinduism).
Establishing
a firm goal in life is journey half covered. Above 99% human beings on Mother
Earth never carry a goal in life... can such people ever be expected to travel

For
following the path of pure spirituality... one need not ever indulge in religion!
Following the path of Neti (not this, not this) as practiced and advocated by
Maharishi Ramana... one finally reaches the end goal of life! Neti is best followed
the Shavasana path of yoga! Lying in the Shavasana pose of yoga... negating all
that is ephemeral... what ultimately remains is God Almighty himself. One finally
realizes God!
