Is God a personal Being who receives prayers and acts upon them?

God
Almighty is not the form of human beings. Also termed Bhagwan, Prabhu, Parmatman,
Brahma, Khuda, Hari and Brahman in Hinduism... God Almighty is pure celestial
power... the combined power of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos at a given
point of time. The might of God Almighty is exercised the moment collapse of the
entire Cosmos occurs.
As
detailed in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita... the size of the entire Cosmos at the time
of dissolution of the Cosmos reduces to the size of half a thumb. And what is
this half a thumb? Devoid of all impurities dross within... the collective volume
of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos is just the size of half a thumb!
Imagine
this colossal power we know as God Almighty... the collective power of all souls
atmans in their purified form... Unable to retain itself for long in its prime
pure state again explodes with a big bang... giving rise to a new cosmos... a
new journey of life! And how do souls' atmans gather impurities?
Similar
as a rolling ball gathers moss... after the big bang all the hurtling souls' atmans
in their cosmic sojourn gather impurities on the way! To cleanse themselves of
the impurities within every soul atman manifests a series of 8.4 million manifestations
to work out its karma... to finally eliminate the impurities within!
The
journey of the soul atman of 8.4 million manifestations approximately requires
96.4 million earthly years... a long journey indeed! Amongst 8.4 million manifestations...
the initial 7.3 million manifestations are spent in the insect, plant and animal
form! The balance 1.1 million manifestations are in the human form alone.
Every
human being is expected to reach the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and
finally salvation (moksha) at the end of the cosmic journey... the 8.4 millionth
manifestation! No sooner our soul atman within gets liberated from the cycle of
birth and death forever... it gains entry into the abode of God... the kingdom
of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism).
Having
understood the gist of cosmic life... that God Almighty is not the form of human
beings... how is it possible for God Almighty to hear our prayers! Yet, the whole
Cosmos... the entire cosmic system acts as a massive computer preprogrammed for
everything! As we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more, so says the law
of karma!
Everything
in the cosmic domain is governed by the law of karma! For all practical purposes
every human being is also governed by the law of karma. As is our karma, so be
our destiny! In the cosmic system prayers definitely enhance our cosmic journey!
As is the prayer offered... accordingly shall be the fruits of our prayers!
Before
offering our prayers... we need to understand the meaning... definition of prayers!
Most human beings say their prayers ritually without ever understanding the meaning
of a prayer! Nothing much is gained in the circumstances! I have seen people ritually
going to the temple for years together yet, their prayers always remaining unfulfilled!
In
the house of God there are no free lunches. If we ask something of God... we definitely
need to offer equally in return! If we desire materialistic riches galore... we
need to offer our services for the welfare of the community. Only then can we
hope to fulfill our materialistic wants and desires.
Before
offering our prayers... we must always understand the true purport of every prayer.
Rituals carry no meaning in the affairs of God. The form of human being is the
highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle... still we ask God for mercy
and help! If we truly live our lives truthfully... there is nothing that can stop
us achieving our goals of life!
God
Almighty can only be reached by treading the path of absolute truthfulness alone!
When young I always wanted to see and meet God in this very life. Somehow I felt
that whatever the circumstances I shall always remain truthful to self and God.
No matter what, I never ditched self and God Almighty on this account.
25
years thence I finally realized God in 1993 at 37 years of age! Having come face-to-face
with God Almighty on one-to-one basis... I am in direct communion with God every
second of my life! My every prayer gets accepted in the house of God. Why? For
I simply never ask anything from God... I only offer my services to god unconditionally!
I
have realized the ultimate truth of life... every human being is but a pawn in
the hands of God Almighty... always realizing that it is our soul atman on its
cosmic journey of purification and not vice versa. It is not within the capability
of the human being to manifest a soul atman! Life in the human form is the richest
experience for the soul atman. It is only in the human form our soul atman finally
gets liberated forever from the cycle of birth and death!
We
must never hesitate in asking anything from God but must always be prepared to
offer our services to god unconditionally in return. Only then our sincere prayers
to God get fulfilled!

Thanks for a wonderfully informative website. Enlightenment can only be achieve
if we are able to fully understand our philosophies. I need some clarification
regarding the monism philosophy. I have a serious of questions that I wish for
you to answer. Is God a personal Being who receives my prayers and acts upon them?
