Lord Krishna
was not god in human form... he was God Almighty manifest in human form. Here
we need to differentiate between God Almighty and man gods. Mahavira, Gautama
Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... all were born normal human beings!
At the end of their life... all these spiritual stalwarts gained enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).
For
all practical purposes they became man gods... someone revered by mankind for
times to come. Every enlightened being... every human being who gains enlightenment
and salvation at the end of the journey becomes a man god... a liberated soul!
Having liberated self from the cycle of birth and death... all man gods find a
place in kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). The kingdom of God... the
abode of God is a place of no return!
Every
single soul atman having liberated itself... having regained its original pure
pristine form remains in the kingdom of God... the abode of God (aka Baikuntha
in Hinduism) until eternity! And what does this mean? This simply means that until
the dissolution of the present cosmos occurs... all liberated souls atmans remain
in the kingdom of God forever.
Here
I would like to clarify one point and that is... sooner the collapse of the entire
cosmos occurs... the whole cosmos... the whole Brahmaand reduces to the size of
half a thumb! This has been clearly detailed in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism...
the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata!
And
what is this story of the whole cosmos reducing to the size of half a thumb? Devoid
of all impurities... the dross within... the volume of all the souls' atmans in
the cosmos is the size of half a thumb! This defines... exemplifies the definition
of God! Almighty God is the cluster of all purified souls atmans in the cosmos
at a given point of time.
Does
this mean the volume of half the size of a thumb... the volume of the entire cosmos
after the collapse is what we term as God Almighty..., yes the truth is so! God
Almighty is nothing else but the sum total of all purified souls atmans in the
cosmos. A grain of sand... an individual soul atman... the whole mound... God
Almighty himself!
This
unimaginable power... the volume of half the size of a thumb... God Almighty himself
unable to contain itself for long in its prime pure state... again explodes with
a big bang... giving rise to a new cosmos... a new journey of life! And starts
a new cosmos... a new beginning of life! All the souls' atmans that had liberated
in the previous cosmos again start their cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations
and earthly journey of 96.4 million years before gaining final release!
Every
human being who gains enlightenment... realizes self simply liberates the soul
atman within from the bondage of life and death... the vicious circle of Samsara
(worldly life). From the first manifestation as an amoeba to the last as an enlightened
one... the journey of soul atman is to reach the end of the journey... the 8.4
millionth manifestation!
The
moment I realized God in 1993... It was all over for me! I had reached the Mount
Everest of spiritual pursuit... the end of the cosmic journey! No further else
to go I shall but attain salvation moksha within this life. Gaining enlightenment
or self realization is the end goal of human life. Whether we travel the spiritual
path now or leave it for the future manifestations is the sole prerogative of
every individual human being!
In
the history of mankind there has only been one Avatar... God manifest in human
form that has been witnessed by mankind... the form of lord Krishna... the Avatar
of Dwaper Yuga! During the times of Lord Krishna life was rife with brutalities
of the highest order. No peace to be found... God Almighty manifested the form
of Lord Krishna! It was only Lord Krishna... an Avatar of the era who would end
adharma (lawlessness) and re-establish Dharma (righteousness)!
In
the recent past... in the last about 150 years only two persons have gained enlightenment...
they were Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana. Both these human beings
became man gods in their lifetime. Every single human being who gains salvation
moksha after gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) becomes a man god.
Having
gained enlightenment a man god can give back to the community what one has learnt
on the path of Wisdom... the spiritual pursuit! Mahavira... the 24th Tirthankara
of Jainism exactly did that. He gained enlightenment at the age of 42 and left
for the kingdom of God at 72 years of age. For exactly 30 years he preached what
he had learnt on the spiritual path.
On
the contrary Gautama Buddha gained enlightenment at the end of his cosmic life
when about 80 years of age. He was so frail bodily that he preferred leaving the
mortal frame the moment he gained enlightenment! The prime reason why the Buddhist
teachings are aka the middle path! Neither living in the community nor in the
confines of the forlorn forests do we gain enlightenment... so advised Gautama
Buddha!
To cut
short... becoming a man god is the end of journey of life! Every human being would
one day become a man god like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet
Mohammed but to incarnate as Lord Krishna is the forte of only a chosen one! One
amongst the community... one in about 3500 years manifests the powers of God Almighty!
Such a noble one is finally termed as an incarnation of God... practically God
Almighty himself!
