Basic teachings of Bhagavad Gita... become clear only by travelling spiritual path... never path of religion... path of rituals! In present scientific age... the present Kali Yuga... Dark Age... metal age most human beings preferred travelling path of religion... never path of spirituality (that took one directly to God Almighty every single time)!

Unless one contemplated on God Almighty... unless one contemplated on basic teachings of Bhagavad Gita... nothing on path of pure spirituality becomes clear! Travelers of religious path... those who believed in Sakaar form of God (God having form) never reached God in their lifetime. God Almighty is always Nirakaar in form (having no form)!

It is only through path of contemplation... path of self enquiry human beings finally unveiled sacred teachings of life hidden in Bhagavad Gita! Understanding Bhagavad Gita was simple but human beings made it complicated! We just cannot have two goals of life at the same time. We could never be religious and also spiritual!

Remaining immersed in religion... travelling religious path... no human being ever came near to God Almighty! Path to God Almighty is always travelled all alone. The uncharted journey of spirituality is full of thorns... prime reason why most human beings feared travelling spiritual path... the path that directly took one to God Almighty!

As per Bhagavad Gita there is nothing to fear on spiritual path yet, most human beings world over dreaded travelling path of pure spirituality! Path of self enquiry... path of contemplation is based upon pure logistics... either you convince me or I convince you! Whoever convinces the other in the end is the winner.

Path of pure spirituality... teachings of Bhagavad Gita are not based on its and buts. Whims and fancies carried no meaning in spiritual world! Most human beings as of today pretended as if travelling spiritual path all the time. Spiritual path... spiritual journey is never travelled that way! We have to negate karma... annihilate karma in totality for reaching God Almighty in present life!

The basic teachings of Bhagavad Gita summaries following essential ingredients of spiritual path:

1. God Almighty is one and only one termed Brahman in Hinduism! As per Bhagavad Gita, God Almighty is the only truth of life. Other than God Almighty nothing existed in whole cosmos! God Almighty... cluster of all pure souls’ atmans carried the volume of half a thumb! This half a thumb... clusters of pure souls' atmans... pure ethereal energy is what we called God Almighty!

God Almighty is that singularity at time of big bang that scientists' world over often talked of! This singularity... the size of half a thumb is what explodes at the time of big bang! As per Bhagavad Gita it is God Almighty that exploded self to cause big bang. With explosion of God Almighty... all pure souls’ atmans scattered all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds.

In the melee... hurtling souls atmans gained impurities similar as a rolling ball gathers moss! To cleanse self of dross impurities within starts cosmic life cycle of every soul atman! It is through a chain of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life sojourn of 96.4 million years... a soul atman finally reached cosmic end of life when human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)!

A soul is termed atman in Hinduism.

2. As per Bhagavad Gita we are primarily a soul atman on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! The entire lifespan consisting of 8.4 million manifestations is one single span of life for a soul atman... absolutely unbroken... uninterrupted! Reincarnation... rebirth is not the absolute truth of life.

As per Bhagavad Gita when nothing dies... how could something rebirth! As detailed in Bhagavad Gita every soul atman is indestructible... could neither be created nor destroyed! In the circumstances... the reincarnation theory that people often talked of was an absolute farce! A soul atman never takes rebirth in a new body... it only manifests new body after death of present body!

As per Bhagavad Gita human form is but a temporary sojourn in entire lifespan of a soul atman! It is only in human form a soul atman finally reached cosmic end of life when human beings gained enlightened (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)! Human form is the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle. A soul atman can never liberate self in any other living form!

For a soul atman to gain absolute purity... its manifesting a form was necessitated! Of itself no soul atman can purify self. It needs an external medium, a body to work out its karma... remove dross impurities within! It is only by travelling spiritual path human beings finally liberated self from cycle of birth and death forever when our soul atman finally regained its lost original pure prime pristine primordial form forever!

3. As per Bhagavad Gita doctrine of karma and theory of evolution are governing in cosmos! In absence of law of karma... process of evolution... the whole cosmos would become stagnant... decay and die! It is only through complex process of karma life moved from one manifestation to another. Karma acts as accountant general of cosmic system.

The closing balance of life at the time of mortal death becomes opening balance for next manifestation! If at the time of death of mortal body... the residual balance of karma demanded our soul atman manifesting form of a laborer... one could not be born a Prince! In domain of God Almighty there are no free lunches... nor could we expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree.

Everything results from inscrutable laws of karma... as we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more! Our destiny... our future life is totally dependent upon karma performed! In the game of life, God never plays dice as stipulated by ignorant scientist Stephen Hawking in one of his famous book... "A brief history of time"!

The ignorant scientist Stephen Hawking failed to realize that in domain of God Almighty karma is absolutely governing! God always acted as a Dhrishta (onlooker)... never interfering with creation of his! We have a free will to exercise. We truly are absolute masters and controllers of our destiny! Why blame god for karma performed by us?

4. The primary teachings of Bhagavad Gita also make it clear that God Almighty did not construct heavens and earth... the whole cosmos in seven days! As detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... it took billions of years before life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system.

No sooner life supporting planets became a reality in cosmic system... the hurtling souls atmans immediately manifested life. Initially a soul atman manifested form of amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in cosmic life cycle. It further evolved into multi-cell formation... then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally forms of human beings!

Before manifesting human form for the first time... a soul atman has already manifested 7.3 million forms in insect, plant and animal life! In the remaining 1.1 million manifestations in human form one is expected to reach stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). Reaching stage of enlightenment is the end goal of cosmic life!

There is not one life supporting planet in entire cosmos. There are millions and millions of life supporting planets in entire cosmos! It is a different matter that residents of one life supporting planet are prohibited to travel to other parts of cosmos... other life supporting planets! Cosmic travel is only permitted to purified souls atmans... never the manifest physical form!

Even an impure soul atman cannot travel to other parts of cosmos until it liberated self from cycle of birth and death!

5. As per teachings of Bhagavad Gita... enlightenment can only be gained via path of spirituality... never religion... path of rituals! Never by going to temples, churches or mosques... had a human being ever reached God! God Almighty is never found in rituals of life. For reaching God Almighty travelling uncharted path of spirituality was mandated.

For our soul atman to gain absolute purity... human beings travelling spiritual path is an absolute necessity! It is only by indulging in teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita human beings finally unveiled those pearls of wisdom knowing which human beings finally gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!

Spiritual path can only be travelled by indulgence in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! The spiritual path can never be travelled via any other religion... no matter what! The crux of life always laid with Hinduism... the foremost of all religions existing on mother earth! The core truths of spirituality laid in Bhagavad Gita... all 700 verses shlokas contained therein!

Travelling path of spirituality is travelling inner domain... reaching our soul atman... the spirit within! Path of religion was primarily meant for keeping the flock of human beings bonded together! The path of religion was merely meant for 70 to 80 years of earthly sojourn... the physical manifest part of life! Path of religion is best travelled following epic Ramayana.

For indulgence in our spirit... our soul atman... teachings of Bhagavad Gita were necessitated! Unless one travelled spiritual path with due diligence... unless one contemplated on God Almighty is via path of self enquiry... unless one eradicated karma by establishing absolute control over five senses and mind... one never reached God in one's lifetime!

The wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita becomes an absolute necessity for annihilating all traces of karma within our soul atman! Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism contains truth but only truth! Understanding Bhagavad Gita human beings finally realized all essentials of spiritual path... realizing God at the end of journey!

For understanding Bhagavad Gita in its entirety... we have to understand underlying meaning! The contents of Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally. As many readings of Bhagavad Gita... as many different meanings one infers! Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in battle of Mahabharata forms summum bonum of spirituality!

Knower of Bhagavad Gita... finally becomes knower of all... gaining omniscience at end of journey! The entire crux of spiritual journey laid in the fact that by travelling spiritual path one removed shackles of karma step-by-step. As dross impurities within our soul atman removed gradually... human beings scaled higher brackets of spiritual life!

Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism has universal appeal! Any human being world over can ceremoniously follow teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita... one need not convert to Hinduism ever! Even while following ones religion... one can indulge in teachings of Bhagavad Gita... no matter what! Bhagavad Gita truly is a universal document that belongs to all... the entire mankind!
