Spirituality Vs Religion is what distinguishes path of God Almighty with rituals! God Almighty (termed Brahman in Hinduism) can never be reached via path of religion... path of rituals! For reaching God Almighty in present life time one needs travelling path of pure spirituality... path of our inner self... our soul atman... the spirit within! A soul is termed atman in Hinduism.

Most human beings world over relate path of religion with spirituality... never wanting to realize that remaining engrossed in religious trivialities of life... none has ever reached God in one's lifetime! The path of bhakti yoga alone does not suffice for reaching God in present life time. One needs travelling path of jnana yoga (path of absolute wisdom) as detailed in Bhagavad Gita!

Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana... the two spiritual stalwarts who realized God in their lifetime... reached end of cosmic journey... 8.4 millionth manifestation; started in search of God via path of bhakti yoga but finally both switched to path of jnana yoga (path of absolute wisdom) in the later stages of life!

God can only be reached via path of contemplation... self enquiry... path of Neti (not this, not this) as preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana... the master of silent preaching’s! In his entire life time Maharishi Ramana never indulged in asking people their query... he always read what was going on in their brains and accordingly answered their queries!

The saying... people can live without religion but not without spirituality is an absolute fact of life! So was ordained by God Almighty. We are in fact a cosmic consciousness... a soul atman on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! We are not merely a physical manifest form that encompassed a soul atman within!

The presence of ego... the I within prohibited us from realizing this absolute fact of life that we are a soul atman and not the manifest physical form! However for reaching our true inner self... for regaining our lost pure prime pristine primordial form human beings needed travelling spiritual path... finally gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha) at the end of journey.

Enlightenment and salvation can never be gained via path of religion... path of rituals! For our soul atman to gain absolute purity... travelling spiritual path is an absolute necessity... something none could do without! Those who remained immersed in religious rituals in the belief that they could gain enlightenment and moksha always remained under a misnomer.

Always thinking of self... never caring for community... can such people ever reach God Almighty in their lifetime? Taking a dip in sacred Ganges River or visiting various centres of pilgrimages one gained nothing in life! If we truly desired reaching God in present life time... path of contemplation (self enquiry) is the only way out!

Followers of religious traditions never get to know anything of spiritual path! Mesmerized by glare of material riches such people always ran after comforts of heaven (termed swarga in Hinduism)... never realizing that heaven (swarga) existed in core of sun where temperatures exceeded millions of degrees centigrade! It is in such high temperatures our soul atman felt comfortable.

For a soul atman... religious traditions do not mean anything! Undertaking spiritual journey to realize the spirit within leads one directly to God Almighty! Knowing our true inner self is realizing God... reaching stage of God realization... self realization! Our true inner self is the spirit... soul atman within the human body!

We as a human being had not manifested a soul atman... it is vice versa! Our soul atman... the spirit within has manifested human body to work out its karma... remove dross impurities within! At the time of start of cosmic journey... every soul atman is pure! The moment big bang occurs... all pure souls atmans gained impurities on their cosmic sojourn!

To cleanse self of dross impurities within starts cosmic life cycle of every soul atman! It is through a maze of 7.3 million manifestations in insect, plant and animal life and balance 1.1 million manifestations in human form... our soul atman... the spirit within finally regained its lost original pure prime pristine primordial form... moment human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya)!

Reaching stage of salvation (moksha) announced end of cosmic journey for every soul atman! The liberated soul atman (liberated from cycle of birth and death forever) finally entered abode of God... kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)... a point of no return! The purified soul atman need not manifest a body further... as need to manifest a new body now ceased to exist!

Religion and spirituality are two distinct paths... the former necessitated to live earthly sojourn of 70 to 80 years in a meaningful manner! Religion is meant for human beings who do not desire travelling spiritual path now! Travelling spiritual path entailed establishing absolute control over five senses and mind.

Furthermore... practising absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation human beings finally awakened their Kundalini Shakti fully... the coiled serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine! Full awakening of kundalini finally resulted in Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petaled Lotus) existing in our brain behind forehead opening fully.

One immediately gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)! In normal circumstances about 99% of our brain always lay dormant. It is only by awakening of kundalini shakti... the dormant portion of brain got fully activated. Full awakening of Kundalini Shakti means our brain becoming hundred percent active! Albert Einstein... the famous physicist had activated his brain 4%!

Hundred percent activation of brain finally led one to invoking all wisdom contained in cosmos... one finally became knower of all... gained omniscience for all practical purposes!

Able to differentiate religion from spirituality in the early stages of life is very beneficial... One can finally concentrate on a single absolute goal of life... be it related to religion or spirituality!

For travelling religious path... teachings of Ramayana sufficed! For reaching inner domain... our soul atman... the spirit within... teachings contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism were necessitated! In absence of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita none could reach God in one's lifetime. The 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita sufficed to reach God.

One single scripture of Hinduism... the sacred Bhagavad Gita contains all worth knowable on spiritual path! Knower of Bhagavad Gita finally became knower of all... became an enlightened one... a bodhi... a Jina... a Mahavira!

Religious path can be travelled by any at any given moment of time. However, spiritual path is a one-way path. We must always tread path of spirituality with caution. Chances of returning to material fold are dim! Only those exhibiting willpower demonstrated by Swami Vivekananda are fit enough to travel spiritual path.

Path of spirituality can only be travelled by one who believes in nishkama karma way of life! Living life as a true trustee of God is what nishkama karma way of yoga is all about. JRD Tata popularly called Jeh... Man of steel was a true karma Yogi par excellence... throughout his entire life JRD Tata lived for mankind... taking care of human beings at every stage of life.

For JRD Tata... every single human being was a true son or daughter of God! Serving God meant serving humanity at its best! JRD Tata was not a follower of Bhagavad Gita but inherently JRD Tata travelled path of nishkama karma throughout his life. Nishkama karma way of life says... indulge in karma offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time.

When nothing belonged to us... living life as JRD Tata... a true trustee of God Almighty is what life is all about! Nishkama karma way of life forms one of the inherent ingredients of spiritual path. For a spiritual seeker reaching end goal of life while indulging in nishkama karma way of yoga was what spirituality was all about.
