How to Find God

Talking of searching for god... how do we really find god? Could one reach God via religion... path of rituals? Can I reach God Almighty via path of spirituality... path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom? Where in truth did god exist? How do I find god if the absolute goal of my life was finding God in this very life? Shall I ever succeed in finding god... asked many?

How to find god is a query not difficult to answer! The reality of life... the absolute truths of life laid in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. By pursuing teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita any human being world over, may or may not belong to Hinduism religion could easily find god. Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism showed the way to reaching God in present life! 

Whether we had the capability of finding God in present life absolutely depended on us... God Almighty never had anything to do with it! Similar as onus of coming first in class always laid on student... never the teacher... how to find god is solely our responsibility. Spiritual masters... spiritual preceptors could only act as guide... but the real work to find god had to be done by us alone! No human being could ever help other in finding God. 

As per Bhagavad Gita, God could only be found via path of spirituality that directly took one to God Almighty... never otherwise! In the present scientific age none could reach God via path of religion... path of rituals! Stated in spiritual terminology... in the present scientific age none could reach God via path of Vedas (Hinduism revelations) that were based more on rituals than wisdom!

Unless we indulged in self enquiry... unless we indulged in Neti (not this, not this) as preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana... none could ever reach God... no matter what! In present times none reached God via path of Jainism, Buddhism, Christianity or Islamic Dharma! Only by assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita could a human being finally reach God!

Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is all about jnana (wisdom) knowing which human beings finally realized their true inner self... the essence of their soul atman... the spirit within! The moment our soul atman finally liberated self from cycle of birth and death forever... human beings reached God! In simpler terms... reaching God meant our soul atman gaining absolute purity. 

For serious seekers of spirituality... how to find god was not a difficult query! By remaining truthful always and ever in life... by walking path of spirituality... by practising absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation... by establishing absolute control over five senses and mind human beings finally reached God in their lifetime! 

Truly God Almighty could not be reached that easily... prime reason why God Almighty ordained a journey of 1.1 million manifestations in human form before our soul atman gained absolute purity! In Hinduism a soul is termed atman. As per Bhagavad Gita if an independent grain of sand is an independent soul atman... the whole mound God Almighty! God was not distinct from a soul atman except that the entire cluster of all purified souls atmans in cosmos at a given moment of time is what we called God Almighty in all its glory.

When dissolution of entire cosmos occurred (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)... God Almighty regained its original prime pure pristine primordial form... the size of half a thumb... the singularity in the beginning of cosmos that scientists world over often wondered about! God almighty... termed Brahman in Hinduism is that singularity in the beginning of time the explosion of which is called big bang theory in Hinduism! Unless God Almighty exploded self with a big bang... the present cosmos would not have formed.

With the explosion of big bang... all pure souls atmans scattered all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds (prime reason why it is stated in scriptures that God is everywhere). In the melee... the hurtling souls' atmans gathered impurities. To cleanse self of dross impurities within starts cosmic life cycle of every soul atman! God Almighty never acted directly. The whole cosmos is directly governed by laws of karma. As we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more! 

For a soul atman to purify itself fully... it needs negating karma to zero. As ordained by God Almighty... the negation of karma to zero required a maximum of 1.1 million manifestations in human form! Gradually step-by-step as human beings covered their spiritual journey... one came nearer to God! The instant our karma negated to zero... one could interact with God Almighty on one-to-one basis! One finally reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) forever! 

God Almighty was not the form of human beings! If Pope got many precision telescopes installed to search for God Almighty in the vast expanse of cosmos... he was totally mistaken! Pope totally failed to realize what God Almighty was all about... prime reason why Christianity feared coming of Antichrist in coming times! The false precepts of Christianity would be laid bare by coming of savior... messiah... avatar of present era... the awaited Kalki Avatar of Hinduism!

Other than Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed none other reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) in West. Comparatively in India, hundreds... if not thousands gained enlightenment in the entire history of Hinduism! The precepts of spirituality are best understood by following wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... the foremost of all sacred scriptures existing on mother earth!

Where do I find god... the query is laid to rest in Hinduism! By following wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... any human being world over could easily gain enlightenment and finally reach God Almighty! No point looking for God in holy books of religion as in present material age none could reach God simply by following rituals... path of religion! 

Finding God when you need him most is the query that wondered many! What humanity failed to realize was... we searched for God only in times of need... what when we were happy... satisfied! Such selfish human beings... do they ever need to reach God? Does God Almighty help individuals on mother earth who were always after money... materialistic wants? 

Most human beings world over do not know how to pray to God Almighty! In India... the system of prayers to God is precarious... totally based on rituals! I have met many people who have been ceremoniously praying to God for above 10 years but to no avail! Those who wanted to find god for their personal needs were totally ignorants on path of pure spirituality. The blessings of God Almighty never become available to such greedy selfish human beings.

All the time begging God for increase in material needs was the motto of many... more particularly in India! Such human beings always craved for true happiness that comes from within! True grace of God Almighty is all the time available to people in West who most of time cared for community. The feelings of happiness from within were writ large on their glowing faces all the time. People in West truly remembered God Almighty both in times of need and when they were happy. It is these people who partially knew how to pray to God Almighty.

Remembering God was not all about indulging in scriptures. Caring for children of God Almighty is remembering God all the time. People in West truly cared for community feelings all the time. In India the concept of community was non-existent. 

India is a land of extremes. Those who seriously desired reaching God in their lifetime finally made it. But most... commoners... masses simply lived slavish life... remaining slave to their destiny all the time. Masses in India never understood God Almighty... prime reason why Indians suffered most all the time. Outwardly feelings of happiness do not matter much in terms of pure spirituality. Essence of life laid in happiness from within... experiencing bliss all the time!
