Query:
Water, air and fire can not touch atman but what about bad and
good deeds?
Vijay Kumar:
As detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism every soul atman was indestructible, could neither be created or
destroyed! It is our soul atman that manifested human form to work out its karma... remove dross impurities within!
One can never understand meaning of soul atman literally, theoretically! One has to dive deep into the bottomless
pit of jnana wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita to understand intricacies of spiritual
system.
Karma... deeds were not performed by
our soul atman, the spirit within! Karma was indulged by the physical manifest form, the living form
manifested by our soul atman! To eradicate dross impurities within... every soul atman, the spirit within
manifested a total of 8.4 million bodies before it reached stage of absolute purity. To eradicate dross
impurities within, our indulgence in good karma, positive karma all the time was
necessitated!
If human beings continued indulgence in bad deeds, bad karma... it
would only increase dross impurities within! For a soul atman to gain absolute purity... our indulgence in positive
karma, good karma all the time was an absolute must! Only by eradicating karma in totality... negating karma to
zero, human beings finally reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) forever. Eradication of karma in
totality required absolute control over five senses and mind.
For establishing absolute control over five senses and mind... undertaking spiritual journey was
mandated by God Almighty!
A to Z of Soul Atman explained in words everyone can easily understand and
fathom. More on physical manifest form - good karma can be found at : Higher Self... Vijay Kumar - 6 November 2012
