Self-Realization Experience Enlightenment Paramahamsa Yogananda God-Realized

The moment you put yourself in the seat of a judge... you loose your right to ask anything! If you can distinguish an enlightened one from the masses... there should not be any query left in you worth asking... you practically become the knower of all!

In my 54 years of earthly domain I have yet to meet a person who could clearly define to me the meaning of spirituality, karma, Dharma, enlightenment, God... anything related to spiritual terminology or Bhagavad Gita!

As ordained by God Almighty... in my lifetime before leaving the mortal frame there is a possibility I might meet one... not many! I have stood by the ranks of Dalai Lama during world philosophers meet only to find such people absolutely blank about what God Almighty or spirituality meant!

Give a human being dozens of noble prizes... that does not make one competent to decipher the wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita! The gist of Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally... it needs reading in between the lines!

Enlightenment (termed self realization in Hinduism) is not that easily gained! I again repeat... In the last about 150 years only two persons reached the stage of enlightenment... Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana!

The contents of most of my articles can never be understood literally... they need reading in between the lines! Some of my articles are as potent... as many readings as many different meanings one derives! Read this one - Truce with my Inner Self

Full text of query: I have read much regarding all your self-realized experiences and those of others (Ramakrishna, Maharishi Ramanand). I disagree with you that Paramahamsa Yogananda is NOT God-realized ! Just reading his books has convinced me that He Is self and God-realized!!! I also have a query...regarding self-realization. If one is extremely despondent for enlightenment, is it an indication that he/she has come upon their 8.4 millionth birth? What are the indications of one who is pursuing this path ardently?
