Query:
Self Realized Masters... Osho on Self Realization
Fellowship
Vijay Kumar: Self Realized Masters who reached stage of enlightenment
in present life time are not to be seen anywhere! As detailed in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism...
enlightenment... also termed self realization... God realization is not that easily achieved! Prime reason
why in last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over only two persons succeeded in
gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi
Ramana!
Both of these self realized spiritual masters initially started their search of God via path
of bhakti yoga but finally switched to path of jnana yoga (path of absolute wisdom)! In present times one could not
reach God via path of religion... path of rituals... path of bhakti yoga! It is only through path of
contemplation... self enquiry human beings finally reached God!
Self realization is the goal of every human being! Whether we
travelled spiritual journey in present life or left it for future manifestations is the sole prerogative of every
human being! We do not know what form our soul manifests in next life (after death of present body)... so why not
travel spiritual path now and reach cosmic end of life... 8.4 millionth manifestation!
The journey of self realization is best travelled following dictates contained in sacred
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! Everything from A-Z related to enlightenment... self realization is explicitly detailed
in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! One who has the will demonstrated by Swami Vivekananda is fit enough to reach
cosmic end of life... stage of self realization!
The journey of self realization can be travelled by any human being world over... whether
single or married! The teachings of Bhagavad Gita also are not propriety of Hinduism! Any human being world over
can follow teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita without ever converting to Hinduism! Even while following ones
religion... one can truthfully follow teachings of Bhagavad Gita!
Self realization is achieved following spiritual path... never path of religion... path of
rituals! Just by going to temples, churches or mosques one never gained enlightenment ever! For gaining
enlightenment in present life time one needs establishing absolute control over five senses and mind! Furthermore
full awakening of Kundalini Shakti is an absolute necessity!
Unless full awakening of kundalini occurred... Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petaled Lotus)
existing in our brain behind forehead would never opened fully! In normal circumstances human beings used their
brain 1%. The full opening of Sahasra Pushpa resulted in our brain getting activated hundred percent! The complete
wisdom contained in cosmos was now at our tips!
Spiritual stalwarts like Swami Vivekananda could not gain enlightenment in his lifetime. Why?
Swami Vivekananda was never after reaching stage of self realization in his lifetime! The ultimate goal of life for
Swami Vivekananda always was... serving the community to its best and in that he excelled! Swami Vivekananda could
have easily gained self realization if he wanted to!
Even spiritual masters’ life Acharya Rajneesh (née Osho)... Sri Aurobindo failed to reach stage
of self realization in their lifetime. Sri Aurobindo candidly admitted in his writings that although his goal of
life was gaining self realization... he failed to do so! Acharya Rajneesh in the later stages of life mixed sex
with yoga.
His experiment of mixing free sex with yoga was a dismal failure... so much so that he was
unceremoniously turned out of United States of America and no country in the world was willing to take him! Finally
his motherland India came to his rescue... Acharya Rajneesh (also) died disgraced... brokenhearted!
Self Realized Masters who are alive today have to be very limited... maybe one or two! This
limitation on many self realized souls gaining enlightenment in same cycle of life was fixed by God Almighty! If
too many Mahaviras... Gautama Buddhas... Jesus Christs or prophet Mohammeds entered the scene... how the masses
could know whom to pray or not!
Even Mahavira and Gautama Buddha were contemporaries... almost separated by a time span of 77
years! In their lifetime Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana never met even though both reached stage
of self realization in 19/20 century! Truthfully speaking... meeting of two realized souls carried no
meaning!
One reached stage of self realization after abandoning all attachments to worldly life! In
such circumstances... one enlightened soul contacting another had no merit! For an enlightened soul... the only
goal of life remained serving the community to its best! Whatever wisdom one gained on spiritual path... giving it
back to society without reservations was the best path to follow!
The art of self realization... the path of enlightenment is best detailed in Bhagavad Gita of
Hinduism! In the West only Jesus Christ reached stage of self realization... enlightenment! Comparatively in the
entire history of mankind not in hundreds but thousands gained enlightenment... self realization... God realization
in India (erstwhile Bharatvarsha)!
In India there never had been dearth of self realized people! Hinduism scriptures... Hinduism
sacred texts are full of them! Every single Upanishad (independent treatise) emanated from an enlightened one!
Unless one reached stage of self realization... one could not invoke the wisdom contained in any Upanishad
(independent treatise)!
Both Bhagavad Gita and various Upanishads formed core of Hinduism! In present times even the
wisdom contained in Upanishads was not necessitated for human beings to reach stage of self realization! By
assimilating wisdom contained in 700 shlokas verses of Bhagavad Gita... human beings could easily gain
enlightenment in present life time.
But how many people truthfully followed teachings of Bhagavad Gita world over? The teachings
of Bhagavad Gita can never be followed... understood literally... it demands reading in between the lines! Unless
one contemplated on sacred scriptural texts... understanding the hidden underlying meaning was almost impossible!
Many readings of Bhagavad Gita carried no merit!
When 11 years of age I wanted to go in search of God! By 13, my simple desire to see and meet
God in this very life became absolute! I had fixed my goal of life... to reach God in this very life... no matter
what! 25 years of yoga meditation... path of contemplation... path of self enquiry... path of Neti (not this, not
this) I finally landed myself in laps of God Almighty!
In the wee hours of third of August 1993, I finally realized God at 37 years of age! This is
my last manifestation on mother earth. Having become a pure soul atman... the need to manifest another body now
ceased to exist! The moment I left my mortal frame... I shall attain salvation (moksha)!
No sooner I realized God in 1993... I have been catering to masses at large through medium of
Internet! Above 3000 articles and essays exist on my various websites... sufficient for human beings to reach stage
of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... self realization... God realization in present life time!
I again repeat... the stage of self realization can never be reached via path of bhakti yoga.
Contemplation on God Almighty was an absolute must! My path of yoga meditation was fixed on path of Neti (not this,
not this) as preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana. Lying in shavasna pose of yoga (the dead pose)... I
finally eradicated dross impurities within my soul atman... finally reaching 8.4 millionth manifestation... last in
cosmic life cycle!
Having reached cosmic end of life I can very well understand what Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism
is all about! The teachings of Bhagavad Gita... the wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita has become like ABCD to me...
it is as if I had dictated contents of sacred Bhagavad Gita in one of my previous manifestations!
The experiences of spiritual path could not be expressed in words! Experiences of spiritual
journey are beyond comprehension of five senses and mind! When I started in search of God... I had no inkling what
God Almighty was all about! The purpose of kundalini, the method of practising celibacy... the true meaning and
purport of meditation yoga was not clear!
As I scaled higher brackets of spiritual pursuit... veil of ignorance removed step-by-step! It
was only after reaching stage of self realization I finally realized what I had actually achieved! A villager by
birth... humble to the core I continued my journey of spiritual path! The moment I negated my ego... my karma to
zero... I finally realized God in 1993!
Throughout my life I was never keen about visiting temples, churches or mosques! In the
initial stages of life when I was only six years of age I could inherently realize that God Almighty did not exist
in various clay statues existing in Hindu temples! The essence of life for me laid elsewhere! By following path of
absolute truthfulness I could hear the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman... that always guided me on the
right path!
Realizing absolute truth at every stage of life became my forte! I learnt to distinguish
between truth and false! None could cheat me ever. I could read mind of people even when quite young! By
maintaining a pure thought process... by indulging in good karma... positive karma all the time... I finally
reached source of all wisdom... God Almighty himself!
If we truly desire searching for an enlightened one in present life... we must read anything we
could lay our hands upon related to Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana! By following path of spiritual
masters... self realized masters... we could duplicate their achievements and reach ultimate goal of life... the
8.4 millionth manifestation!
