Information about Krishna

Lord Krishna considered a Hindu god was actually an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form)! Hindu gods are many but Lord Sri Krishna can be easily identified from these deities hinduism as he had many distinct powers that a man God never possessed! Lord Krishna was much more than Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed... enlightened ones who gained enlightenment in their lifetime... became a Jiva... a bodhi!

An avatar in Hinduism has absolutely distinct characteristics that distinguished it from deities in Hinduism! Right from initial stages of life Lord Krishna depicted supernatural powers like dancing on Nag Kalia (a many mouthed serpent)! The dancing of Lord Sri Krishna child on Kalia serpent depicted one's Kundalini energy awakening fully! Lord Sri Krishna in the early stages of life had overpowered Kundalini Shakti... the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine!

The body of Lord Sri Krishna is always depicted in dark blue or black color! The dark blue color signifies existence of poison in body! For Lord Sri Krishna to fight evil forces of adharma (lawlessness) and re-establish Dharma (righteousness) demanded Lord Sri Krishna rising above the ordinary! To cleanse society of its ills, Lord Sri Krishna mentally drank poison of all negative thoughts resulting in his body becoming dark blue!

For an avatar... to uphold Dharma (righteousness) it becomes necessitated to drink nectar of all evil forces existing on mother earth! Unless a human being had the power to do so... one could never become an avatar (God manifest in human form)! Such a feat in real life could never be performed by a man God like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed! It is not within the capability of enlightened ones to drink poison of the entire world!

What distinguished a Kali Yuga (Dark Age... metal age) from a Satyuga (golden age... golden period)! In a Kali Yuga the negative forces of nature peaked... comparatively in a Satyuga the positive forces of nature peaked! The difference lay in our invocation of thoughts. In Kali Yuga most human beings invoked negative thoughts most of time. While in a Satyuga almost all human beings invoked positive thoughts all the time.

Any Yuga minus negative forces of nature could be termed Satyuga! In a Satyuga... most human beings cared for each other as if all were children of God Almighty! On the contrary Kali Yuga was dominated by bloated predominant egos that made human beings selfish! We are presently passing through Kali Yuga phase of life when society lost its dominant cherished ethical and moral values. To cleanse society of ills of today... people awaited coming of Kalki avatar... an avatar of present era! Krishna was first and Kalki would be second avatar of God Almighty on mother earth!

All other avatars of God Almighty other than Krishna and awaited Kalki only existed in Hinduism mythology! In the physical manifest form since the inception of mankind... Lord Krishna was the first avatar of God Almighty on mother earth. Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine by Lord Krishna explicitly states so! Why? The entire history of mankind is not older than 10,000 years! After coming of Vedas (Hinduism revelations)... Bhagwan Krishna was the first avatar to have set foot on mother earth. After about 3600 years of coming of Krishna... people await coming of Kalki!

As ordained by God Almighty... Society comes full circle every 3500 to 5000 years! The start of a new era became possible with coming of avatars like Lord Krishna and Kalki avatar! The significance of an avatar in Hinduism is immense. In absence of a savior... a messiah... an avatar... the present society could not sustain for long! Lord Krishna came in Dwapar Yuga when conditions were almost as ripe as today.

With coming of Lord Krishna mankind got a new meaning to life! In the battle of Mahabharata between Pandava and Kaurava Kings... the sermon of Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Lord Krishna is without a parallel in the entire history of mankind! Mounted with power of Bhagavad Gita King Arjuna finally succeeded in re-establishing Dharma (righteousness) against evil forces of adharma (lawlessness)!

The teachings of Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Lord Krishna form epitome of spirituality! The wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita can only be assimilated by one who travelled path of absolute truthfulness... always and ever! In other words Lord Krishna can also be equated to truth but only truth! Apart from being truthful Lord Krishna was a perfect administrator. He finally guided not forced King Arjuna to win war of Mahabharata!

People in present times worshipped Lord Krishna as an ideal... a Bhagwan... an avatar! Simply worshipping Lord Krishna never meant anything. In the teachings of Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna advised humanity to follow path of spirituality that directly led to God Almighty in present life! In other words... to gain enlightenment... to reach state of Nirvikalpa samadhi... stage of absolute nothingness and finally salvation moksha... assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita were necessitated in totality!

Lord Krishna must be worshipped only if one wanted to travel spiritual path... the path of unknown! For followers of religion... rituals... prayers to Lord Krishna carried no meaning! The 700 shlokas verses in Bhagavad Gita verily contained everything related to humanity right from stage of big bang when origination of cosmos occurred... to dissolution of cosmos at the time of Pralaya in Hinduism! In Hinduism dissolution of entire cosmos is termed Pralaya.

For knowing our true inner self... for realizing our true inner being... for becoming a pure soul atman... teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita were necessitated. In absence of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... no human being world over in present times could ever reach stage of enlightenment and finally salvation moksha! Following Bhagavad Gita is following path of jnana yoga... jnana marga... path of absolute wisdom!

In Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna advised... in the present scientific age one could never reach God via path of bhakti yoga... path of religion... path of rituals! One had to pursue path of jnana yoga... no matter what! Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana... the two spiritual stalwarts who gained enlightenment in the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over initially started in search of God via path of bhakti... path of rituals! But finally both switched to path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom as detailed in Bhagavad Gita!

Doctrine of karma is the most emphasized part of physical manifest life in teachings of Bhagavad Gita! As per Bhagavad Gita all human beings were duty-bound to indulge in karma! As per Bhagavad Gita the journey of life belonged to our soul atman and never the manifest physical form! Bhagavad Gita thus advised all human beings to indulge in karma... nishkama karma way! Offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time is what nishkama karma of Hinduism was all about! Fruits of karma performed always belonged to our soul atman... still, human beings remained attached to material belongings as if they owned all!

Before coming of Lord Krishna existed Vedas (Hinduism revelations) the contents of which were voluminous... unfathomable by commoners... masses! The four primary Vedas consisted of Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda. For eternal messages to reach mankind at large doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was presented by Lord Krishna as the essence of all four Vedas! The sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is also termed Vedanta... end of Vedas!

Lord Krishna also laid emphasis on doctrine of Dharma, "Your right to do what is just and right and not what was destined". It is Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna that stated human form was the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle! It is only in human form our soul atman... the spirit within finally gained permanent release from cycle of birth and death forever! The moment human beings reached stage of enlightenment... it announced our soul atman completing cosmic journey... reaching 8.4 millionth manifestation forever.

Lord Krishna is not an entity that needs worship... as it entailed indulging in rituals that truly carried no meaning in spiritual world. Bhagavad Gita stated much more... it advised human beings to follow path of spirituality advocated by Lord Krishna! Prayers to Lord Krishna also meant nothing for commoners... masses! Unless we rightfully lived life of dharma (righteousness)... unless we considered all Children of God Almighty... unless we indulged in karma... nishkama karma way... all our prayers to Krishna would come to naught!

Lord Krishna has been depicted as charioteer of Arjuna! In spiritual parlance this simply means... within the form of human beings resided God Almighty in form of our soul atman... the spirit within! It is this soul atman that is the master and controller of life... the human body! Human body was only a means to an end... the ultimate goal of life for a soul atman always remaining... reaching cosmic end of life... 8.4 millionth manifestation at the earliest!

If we want to understand God Krishna... if we want to understand teachings of Lord Krishna... our indulgence in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism was an absolute must! For understanding true meaning of life... for realizing true value of karma... for understanding what enlightenment and salvation was all about... the teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita come to our rescue. For seekers of spirituality... for travellers of spiritual path Bhagavad Gita is the bible of life!

The importance of doctrine of Bhagavad Gita by Sri Krishna can be gauged from the fact that in initial stages of life Jesus Christ stowed on a ship to India when 13~14 years of age! The missing years in life of Jesus Christ (14 to 29 years of age) said it all. In about 15 years spent by Jesus Christ in erstwhile Bharatvarsha (now India)... Jesus Christ learnt the intricacies of life by indulgence in Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and various other holy textbooks of Hinduism!

If we are truly a seeker of spiritual path... if we really desire reaching God in present life... our following teachings of Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna were necessitated! Human beings who thought otherwise were totally mistaken... prime reason why other than Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana none other reached stage of enlightenment and salvation in last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over! If Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana did it... so could others! Why not follow the path of enlightened ones to reach goal of our life!

Significance of Bhagavad Gita for world community is not only immense... but in coming times it is only through teachings of Bhagavad Gita the awaited Kalki avatar would finally succeed in re-establishing dharma (righteousness) over evil forces of adharma (lawlessness)! Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism forms the primary of all sacred scriptures belonging to different religions of world.

Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says, surrender all unto me... to reach me! But surrender to God had its limitations! Complete surrender to God in the present materialistic world was impossible... prime reason why Krishna advised following path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom in the present scientific age! Complete surrender to God meant... surrendering our ego in totality! Most religious preachers of today had their goal in life fixated on building big ashrams (hermitages)... not for the benefit of mankind... but their individual self! All were after name and fame without exception!

Could such people ever realize self... reach God in their lifetime! A true humble servant of God... a follower of Bhagavad Gita need not have an ashram... a hermitage like Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Maharishi Ramana! Both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana all the time lay on a cot preaching pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita to world community! In the house of God all were equal. Not even a king was allowed to break the queue that formed to meet Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Maharishi Ramana!

The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Krishna was pure wisdom (jnana)! Why not all of us duplicate path of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Maharishi Ramana to reach God in our lifetime!

We must all the time remember that Lord Krishna was born an ordinary mortal. In his lifetime in the early stages of life he took total control of life by manifesting destiny! His kundalini awakened fully even when a child! Such a prowess made him an avatar of his era... an embodiment of God Almighty! For commoners... masses the deeds of Lord Krishna depicted something extraordinary... prime reason why people world over... more particularly in India (erstwhile Bharatvarsha) consider him a living manifestation of God Almighty!

K
rishna Bhagavad Gita

Lord Krishna is remembered in the history of mankind for his sermon of Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine delivered to King Arjuna in the battle of Mahabharata between Pandava and Kaurava Kings! It was teachings of Bhagavad Gita following which Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed finally gained enlightenment in their lifetime!

The preaching’s of Bhagavad Gita by Lord Sri Krishna are universal in nature... eternal... that do not dilute with passage of time! For assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... any human being world over even while following ones religion can ceremoniously follow teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita that ultimately formed core truths of life.

Teachings of Bhagavad Gita by Krishna were never a proprietary of Hinduism. The teachings of Bhagavad Gita were perennial in nature and could withstand any test of time! Since the inception of mankind... if any human being has reached stage of enlightenment... it was all due to the wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... also termed Vedanta... end of Vedas!

And what is Bhagavad Gita after all? As per Hinduism scriptures initially came Vedas (Hinduism revelations)... the first words of God Almighty revealed to mankind! The Vedas were voluminous documents difficult to decipher even by scholars! For all practical purposes the wisdom contained in Vedas were beyond reach of commoners... masses!

Lord Krishna squeezed wisdom contained in Vedas (essentially four primary Vedas... Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda) to one single scripture... the eternal Bhagavad Gita! Prime reason why Bhagavad Gita is also called Vedanta... End of Vedas! With coming of Lord Krishna... the eternal teachings of scriptures reached the common man!

The teachings of Bhagavad Gita can only be reached via path of spirituality... never path of religion... path of rituals! The teachings of Bhagavad Gita led one directly to God Almighty. All essential wisdom to reach stage of enlightenment is contained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana reached stage of enlightenment by travelling path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom! Bhagavad Gita advocates travelling path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom... never path of religion... path of rituals!

For reaching God in ones lifetime... one need not pursue religious texts like Ramayana! The teachings of Ramayana were meant for day-to-day life... never for travelling spiritual path. Prime reason why King Rama is also known as maryada Purushottam Rama! The highest stage that human beings can reach in physical manifest life is that of maryada Purushottam Rama!

But for undertaking journey to the core of our real self... our soul atman... the spirit within... teachings of Bhagavad Gita contained in Mahabharata epic were necessitated! Does it mean... for gaining enlightenment the sermon of Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata was necessitated and for reaching highest stage of physical manifest life teachings contained in epic Ramayana sufficed... yes, this is an absolute fact of life as per Hinduism!

One thing about Bhagavad Gita by Krishna must become absolutely clear. The contents of sacred Bhagavad Gita could never be understood literally... it demands reading in between the lines! By following path of absolute truthfulness... by remaining truthful throughout life... human beings could easily grasp the inner meanings contained in Bhagavad Gita.

Never through path of untruthfulness, deceit or vile could human beings ever decipher inner meanings contained in Bhagavad Gita! The only prerequisite to understanding wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita was... remaining truthful throughout life! In the present materialistic world... it is extremely difficult to remain truthful throughout... but not impossible!

If our goal of life was clear... absolute... fixed... we never had any problem! One whose goal of life is fixed... the journey is half covered. Mounted with bulldog determination exhibited by Swami Vivekananda... any human being could easily understand teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita. For understanding Bhagavad Gita one need not become a recluse... a mystic!

Even while living within confines of family life (Grihastha ashram) could a human being gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)! The path to gaining enlightenment is difficult... very difficult... but not impossible for a serious seeker of spirituality! The journey to God Almighty is always travelled all alone. No matter how best we try... we would not get a preceptor in life to guide us! That was how God Almighty ordained spiritual journey to be!

Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism contained 700 shlokas verses fathoming which one could easily understand the gist of life right from beginning of cosmos (when God Almighty exploded self with a big bang) to dissolution of cosmos (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)! Everything related to spiritual path... spiritual journey is contained in Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Bhagwan Krishna!

Lucky are those who travelled spiritual path in present life! The present life was manifested by our soul atman... the spirit within! After death of present body we do not know what form our soul atman manifests in next life. It is in our interest to undertake spiritual journey now! This was how we could expedite the cosmic journey undertaken by our soul atman... the spirit within!

Of all the people I have come in contact in present life... I have found none seriously wanting to travel spiritual path! All that people desired was improving their present life... by whatever means possible! As per Bhagavad Gita our goal of life could never be accumulating material riches that could never be carried to next life! What actually got carried to next life are virtues earned in present life! By indulging in positive karma... good karma all the time human beings definitely could manifest better life in next manifestation... nothing more than that!

But to reach stage of enlightenment in present life... our negating karma to zero was mandated by God Almighty! Unless our karma reduced to zero... one could never become an enlightened one! As per Bhagavad Gita karma could only be negated to zero by establishing absolute control over five senses and mind. In the present materialistic scenario this again is a tedious task. But for a serious seeker of spirituality... nothing was impossible!

As per Bhagavad Gita apart from establishing absolute control over five senses and mind... practice of absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation was necessitated! The practice of celibacy for 12 years resulted in full awakening of Kundalini Shakti... the coiled serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine. The moment we overpowered kundalini serpent... Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petaled Lotus) existing in our brain behind forehead opened fully. One immediately reached stage of an enlightened one... a bodhi... a Jina!

Opening of Sahasra Pushpa announced our brain becoming hundred percent active! The brain of normal human beings activated one percent... 99% always lying dormant! Albert Einstein was the only scientist in whole world who activated his brain 4%. Enlightened ones always used their brain hundred percent... prime reason why they were called enlightened... fully awakened! The wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita finally helped human beings activating their brain fully.

Mahabharata Krishna

The presence of Krishna in Epic Mahabharata laid foundation stone for dharma (righteousness) winning against evil forces of adharma (lawlessness)! The battle of Mahabharata was fought between Pandava and Kaurava clans and was rightly termed as Dharma yuddha... war of justice! On the physical plane both the warring sides had almost equal power... rather conditions favored Kauravas more than Pandavas! But Krishna... an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form) was with Pandavas (the righteous people)!

The battle of Mahabharata that was fought more than 3600 years before now was in no way less than a nuclear war of great magnitude! It was more of a spiritual warfare than a physical fight! Both sides used mantras openly to their benefit! But the most devastating weapon ever made available to mankind by God Almighty existed with Lord Krishna... the Sudarshan chakra! Mounted with this ultimate weapon... Lord Krishna guided King Arjuna towards a logical end!

Yet, the battle was fought with normal warfare between Pandava and Kauravas without direct intervention of Lord Krishna! As Lord Sri Krishna was related to both Pandava and Kauravas... he first offered Kaurava Kings Duryodhana to choose between his individual self and his army! King Duryodhana chose army of Lord Krishna to be on his side. Being materially inclined he failed to realize that as the army of Lord Krishna was under command of Krishna... choosing his army was a wrong decision!

Finally Lord Krishna sided with Pandavas becoming charioteer to King Arjuna in the battle of Mahabharata! Before the start of battle of Mahabharata when King Arjuna looked at the opposite side... he bluntly refused to fight the opponents that included his maternal grandfather Bhishma Pitamah, his favorite teacher Dronacharya and most of his first cousins! In this predicament of King Arjuna it was Lord Krishna who finally helped him realize his folly!

At this stage of life, Lord Krishna administered to King Arjuna the sermon of Bhagavad Gita! Lord Sri Krishna told Arjuna that as a king he was duty-bound to fight his opponents irrespective of whether they were related to him or not! In all circumstances of life... a king was supposed to fight for his countrymen... his self-respect! In the initial stage... no quantum of consolation by Lord Krishna worked for King Arjuna who was hell-bent on not fighting his maternal grandfather, Guru and close relatives!

Finally Lord Krishna admonished King Arjuna by saying that this battle of Mahabharata was a fight between godly and evil forces of nature! No matter what... the godly forces of nature had to win! The opponents... the army of Kauravas had played a treacherous role all throughout! Enough was enough! Now it was time to repay the Kauravas in the same coin! Lord Krishna advised Arjuna that if he thought... he was fighting his relatives... he was wrong!

Lord Krishna advocated that journey of life always belonged to our soul atman... the spirit within! Human beings were only instruments in the entire game of life... in the hands of God Almighty! Whom King Arjuna termed his maternal grandfather, Guru or cousins had a different relationship in their earlier birth... earlier manifestation by their soul atman! By inflicting injuries in present life... no one killed anyone! It was a war of dharma (righteousness) and had to be won at all costs!

As King Arjuna started assimilating pearls of wisdom stated by Lord Krishna... he realized his folly of not fighting his opponents who sided with adharma (lawlessness)! Finally King Arjuna and his army fought a pitched battle in which his maternal grandfather Bhishma Pitamah, Guru Dronacharya and many relatives succumbed to bodily death. So devastating was the battle of Mahabharata that for days it was blood all around... dead bodies lying scattered all over!

In the fight between dharma (righteousness) and adharma (lawlessness)... it is finally David who won the end! Someone as small as David could definitely inflict fatal injuries to Goliath in times of need! Assisted by avatar of that era (God manifest in human form) such a victory inevitably becomes possible! The sermon of Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna contained those elements of spirituality knowing which human beings can accomplish even the insurmountable!

As per Hinduism scriptures, in times of strife... great tribulation comes an avatar (god manifest in human form)! In Dwapar Yuga came Lord Krishna... an avatar of his era! In the present Kali Yuga... dark age... metal age mankind awaited coming of Kalki avatar... an avatar of present era... one who shall finally succeed in re-establishing dharma (righteousness) against all odds. Then battle of Mahabharata was fought and in present times the coming nuclear world war 3 would result in above 1200 million people succumbing to bodily death!

Such would be the fury of coming world war 3 that for days... even weeks... Sun would not be visible to mankind! With acid rain falling all over... mankind would have learnt its bitter lessons! It is in such times... the sermon of Bhagavad Gita finally comes to rescue of mankind. Mounted with power of Bhagavad Gita... the awaited Kalki avatar... savior... messiah of present age would provide to ailing mankind those passages from Bhagavad Gita that in aftermath of world war 3, mankind finally ushers into Satyuga... golden age... the golden period!

M
eera Krishna

Bhakti Yoga... bhakti movement in Hinduism is akin to absolute faith expressed by Christians in Jesus Christ! In absence of absolute faith, total faith in God Almighty... nothing much in field of bhakti hinduism could be achieved! Becoming a Bhakta of God Almighty meant total surrender to God Almighty... no matter what the results! Bhakti was always unconditional Bhakti was more prevalent during mediaeval times... times of Vedas and Lord Krishna! For reaching God... for realizing self human beings expressed absolute faith in God Almighty (termed shraddha in Hinduism)!

Faith in God Almighty builds with time. One could never be persuaded by force to become faithful to God Almighty. All the feelings of faith always come from within. Unless one was pure in heart... unless one was truthful in all circumstances of life... one could never practice bhakti as in Hinduism! Practice of bhakti involved total surrender of ego to God Almighty. Easily said than done! In the present materialistic age complete negation of ego seemed impossible! Only a very ardent serious seeker of spirituality... like Swami Vivekananda could succeed in practising bhakti yoga in present times!

Merely chanting of hymns in praise of Lord Krishna... indulging in rituals that carried no meaning in spiritual world... praying most of time to Bhagwan Krishna never led anywhere. We had to indulge in nishkama karma to practice bhakti! Total surrender to God meant leaving our family and children in care of God Almighty permanently. All bondages of earthly manifest life came to naught! Such levels of spirituality are really difficult to practice... more so in present Kali Yuga... Dark Age... metal age!

Still, not hundreds... not thousands but millions indulged in bhakti yoga... always moving ritually... never realizing that God Almighty could never be reached via path of bhakti in present Kali Yuga! If the desire of most seekers is personal welfare... how could such human beings practice bhakti yoga with absolute perfection and sincerity!

Mira Bai was an exceptional woman who indulged in bhakti yoga... singing praises of Lord Krishna most of time! Her devotion to Lord Krishna was in extremes, for her complete life revolved around Lord Krishna... her Savior... whom she considered as her consort! The devotion of Mira Bai to Lord Krishna was complete in all respects. Nothing in world could sway her from her devotion to Lord Sri Krishna! Her unconditional love for Lord Sri Krishna has no parallel in mankind... prime reason why Mira Bai is remembered all over India by faithful Bhaktas!

Mira Bai usually sang bhajans in praise of Lord Krishna! It was through path of bhakti... Mira Bai wanted to unite with God Almighty! And eventually Mira Bai succeeded in her attempts! Mira Bai truly was epitome of bhakti movement... parallels of which could not be seen in present times! Only by subduing her ego in totality could Mira Bai succeed in reaching God.

Mira Bai in her lifetime came to understand true preaching and purport of Bhagavad Gita! When once Mira Bai wanted to enter a Temple for paying obeisance and praying to Lord Krishna... she met resistance at the level of temple priest who stated... women were not allowed in the Temple to pray to God Almighty. Such was the tradition in those times.

Mira Bai was seriously shaken by this episode! She went back to her abode and sent a small chit to the priest of the Temple. Reading what Mira Bai had written on that small piece of paper... the priest immediately came to abode of Mira Bai and fell at her feet asking for forgiveness in matters spiritual! What was it that Mira Bai had written that made the priest change his mind?

Mira Bai had simply written... all human beings in world including men were women... there was only one Karta... one Sanatana Purusha... God Almighty himself! As per Mira Bai... there was only one Purusha (male) in the entire cosmos... her deduction in the matter was perfect as this is what Bhagavad Gita stated! God Almighty was one and only one.

The purport of above statement does not become clear to travellers of religious path... followers of rituals! Only an ardent serious seeker of spirituality could finally understand the meaning behind statement of Mira Bai! Such was the spiritual strength of Mira Bai that she openly professed in public that Lord Krishna was her consort! If she loved Lord Krishna... it was her right to do so!

In the present materialistic age... Bhagavad Gita advised following path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom to reach God Almighty! As path of bhakti was almost impossible to tread... human beings could definitely reach God in present times via path of spirituality... via path of jnana yoga... absolute wisdom!

Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana initially started in search of God via path of bhakti yoga... path of religion... path of rituals! But finally realizing that God Almighty could not be reached via path of bhakti alone... both finally switched to path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom! Both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana in their lifetime reached God via path of jnana yoga as detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!

Krishna Avatar

The concept of avatar in Hinduism is without precedent. In no other religion of world... a concept like coming of an avatar existed. Why? The theory of spirituality in its prime existed only in Hinduism... prime reason why concept of an avatar (God manifest in human form) exists only in Hinduism. God manifest in human form... yes Lord Krishna exhibited qualities that humanity presumed could only exist in God... never man gods or mankind at large.

As per doctrine of Bhagavad Gita... coming of an avatar... a messiah... savior was necessitated when ball goes flat. It is not even within powers of man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed to lift this ball and start cycle of life again. The wisdom of man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed was limited to practice of spirituality... living spiritual life as ordained in scriptures... nothing more!

An avatar in Hinduism is a lethal combination of a man god (one who gained enlightenment in his lifetime) and Chanakya (the most able administrator in the entire history of mankind). To save lives of millions of countrymen Chanakya got eliminated hundred kings in one night. He got them killed in cold blood by sending vish kanyas (poison ladies who survived and lived on serpent poison). So powerful was their intent that a single kiss resulted in immediate death.

To re-establish dharma (righteousness) against evil forces of adharma (lawlessness), Chanakya indulged in every kind of spiritual warfare. Despite all these activities Chanakya did not incur any sin. Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism categorically states that to save lives of millions of people... if few bad elements in society are eliminated... then no wrong is done. Chanakya was a hard-core administrator who never minced words. He always accomplished what he desired from heart.

An avatar... a messiah... a savior always comes in times of extreme need. When society totally loses its moral values, when might is right, becomes order of day, when innocents get killed in hundreds... God Almighty takes care of humanity by sending an avatar (God manifest in human form) to eradicate society of its existing ills. In Dwapar Yuga... in times of strife and tribulation came Lord Krishna... an avatar of his era... the first avatar to advent mankind in person.

In human form, Lord Krishna was the first avatar who advent mankind. Before Lord Krishna mankind had never come across an avatar... God manifest in human form! With coming of Lord Krishna, Dharma (righteousness) was re-established with full grace. No matter how strong the opponent... the army of King Arjuna under guidance of Lord Krishna finally defeated armies of King Duryodhana... one directly related to King Arjuna as first cousin.

After coming of Lord Krishna... almost thousand years later followed Mahavira... 24 Tirthankara of Jainism (preceptor). About 77 years later came Gautama Buddha. About 423 years later came Jesus Christ and another few centuries later followed Prophet Mohammed. After Prophet Mohammed many human beings gained enlightenment in India... in Hinduism. Compared to two in West... hundreds if not thousands gained enlightenment in the entire history of Hinduism.

The advent of Lord Sri Krishna was about 3600 years before now. As detailed in Bhagavad Gita... life comes full circle every 3500 to 5000 years. In present times of strife and tribulation... humanity expected coming of Kalki avatar... a messiah... savior of present era... one who exhibited almost same powers as that of Lord Krishna. Kalki avatar would be a phenomenon to watch... a single man army who shall finally succeed in re-establishing Dharma (righteousness) against all evil forces of adharma (lawlessness).

Such would be the might of Kalki avatar that he shall develop a devoted following of above 1000 million people... and another 1000 million would firmly believe in his moral and ethical principles of life. We are presently passing through Kali Yuga phase of life when life practically loses its sheen. Order needs to be re-established in the society. But before order could be established... the third and final world war of present era awaits mankind.

During times of Krishna avatar... battle of Mahabharata was fought between Pandava and Kaurava Kings. In present age... the coming world war 3 would be fought between followers of fundamentalist religions life Christianity and Islam Dharma. The cat and dog fight between Christianity and Islamic Dharma has continued for centuries... and end is very near. None... not even God Almighty would stop the anticipated world war 3... For cleansing of society was ordained by God Almighty himself.

No matter how precarious the situation... how unfavorable conditions one confronted... but an avatar always wins the end. That was what God... moral and ethical values of life were all about. Life truly had hidden parameters that could only be unveiled by coming of an avatar (God manifest in human form). With coming of Kalki avatar in present times... mankind would witness a new era... start of golden age in aftermath of world war 3.

Self declared Bhagavan Kalki's in present times truly carried no meaning. Avatar Kalki would be a phenomenon that would be recognized by society at large. An apostle of truth but only truth... Kalki avatar would provide much needed reprieve to society in times of need. For Kalki avatar... the entire mankind would be one family with no distinctions of religion ever. Kalki avatar would be a spiritual person... never indulging in religion... rituals!

Kalki avatar... a true replica of Krishna avatar would be a phenomenon to witness. The essence of Bhagavad Gita would flow from this avatar of present era like ABCD. A duplicate of Lord Krishna in present times... wow... we definitely have blessings of God Almighty! When people asked... when world war 3 would start... the simple answer would be... depending on mass karma performed by entire society. Law of karma says we reap what we sow... Nothing less or more!

The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred scripture existing on mother earth was given to mankind by Krishna avatar in the battle of Mahabharata between Pandavas and Kauravas. The sermon of Bhagavad Gita contained truth and only truth. It is following eternal teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita... human gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and prophet Mohammed finally gained enlightenment in their lifetime.

In his times Krishna avatar was not bonded to a particular sect or religion and same would be the case with Kalki avatar. An avatar always holds universal position... belonging to entire mankind at large. For an avatar... the entire mankind on mother earth was one large family. For traveling spiritual path... for knowing our true inner self... for reaching God in present life... pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna was an absolute must. It is wisdom contained Bhagavad Gita that would come to rescue of mankind in times of strife... tribulation!
