Self Realisation Experience

Self realisation is not something gained physically by human beings... it is realising our true nature... our true inner self... our soul atman... the spirit within! Self realisation experience can only be realised by one who travelled path of pure spirituality... path of jnana yoga... absolute wisdom as ordained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. Self realisation experience is always realized individually... it could never be imparted by one human being to another... no matter what!  

Those who claimed that self realization could be imparted in hours... days or months were total ignorants on path of pure spirituality. Such religious preachers never benefited mankind ever. Working for their own vested interests... preaching half baked religious theories most of time... such practitioners of religious path never came to understand what spirituality was all about. Truly... path of spirituality was not that easily traveled. 

Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... all reached stage of self realisation experience by their own individual efforts. As stated in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism, unless we cut across shackles of karma forever... one could never experience... reach stage of self realization in present life! Cutting across shackles of karma was not that easy... prime reason why God Almighty ordained a long journey of 1.1 million manifestations in human form before human beings reached stage of self realisation... god realization... enlightenment! 

In spiritual terminology self realisation... god realization and enlightenment... all meant the same. To reach stage of self realisation one had to follow teachings contained in 700 shlokas verses of Bhagavad Gita. In absence of teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita... none world over could realize god... realize self... reach stage of enlightenment! The teachings of Bhagavad Gita initially seemed difficult but for an ardent seeker of spirituality... nothing was impossible! If Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana did it... so could others! 

Self realisation experience meant practising absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation. Practice of celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years was necessitated for full awakening of Kundalini Shakti... the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine. Furthermore, total control over five senses and mind was necessitated to reach stage of self realisation... god realization... or enlightenment! In the present materialistic age... establishing absolute control over five senses and mind almost seemed impossible! 

In the present religious scenario... many religious preachers day and night preached half baked theories to gullible masses without ever understanding what self realisation... god realisation was all about! One who was as serious as Swami Vivekananda was fit enough to travel spiritual path to reach stage of self realisation... god realization! Those who do not possess willpower exhibited by Swami Vivekananda were incompetent to undertake spiritual journey as mandated in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. 

Stage of self realisation... God realisation meant our soul atman... the spirit within gaining absolute purity forever. In absence of dross impurities within soul atman, the need for a soul atman to manifest another body now ceased to exist. The purified soul atman... the liberated soul atman... after human beings attained salvation moksha finally entered abode of God... kingdom of God... termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism... a point of no return! In Hinduism a soul is termed atman. 

Essence of self realisation can be easily understood by assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. The path of spirituality is always traveled all alone. In present times... in present Kali Yuga... to gain self realisation, god realisation meant pursuing path undertaken by Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana... the only two spiritual stalwarts who gained self realisation... God realisation in the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over. 

In the last about hundred years... Paramhansa Yogananda... Sri Aurobindo... Swami Sivananda... all tried their best to reach stage of self realisation but none succeeded in their efforts. Over 3000 essays articles existed on my various websites fathoming which any human being world over could easily reach stage of self realisation... god realisation! But how many human beings world over truly made efforts to travel spiritual path sincerely and diligently! 

In my 50 years of spiritual travail I have yet to come across a person who could detail to me meaning of spirituality... self realisation... karma... dharma ... God Almighty! Most human beings preferred path of religion than path of pure spirituality... never realising that God Almighty could not be reached via path of religion... path of rituals! In the present scientific age... God Almighty could never be reached via path of bhakti yoga alone. 

Path of bhakti yoga... path of religion demands absolute submission to God Almighty. Dominated by a bloated ego and pursuing material riches... how could human beings on mother earth expected to travel path of spirituality that directly led to God Almighty. The journey of spirituality is an uncharted path... absolutely unknown! As many human beings... as many different paths to God Almighty can there be. 

Reaching God was our goal of life and human beings were free to travel any path as mandated in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. It was only by hit and trial method I finally established absolute control over five senses and mind. Practising absolute celibacy for 14 years in continuation... in the wee hours of third of August 1993 I finally realized God at 37 years of age. This is my last manifestation on mother earth. Having gained absolute purity... nowhere to go further... moment I leave my mortal frame... I shall attain salvation moksha. 

Soon after I realized God... the entire wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism became like ABCD... it was as if I had dictated the contents of sacred Bhagavad Gita in one of my previous manifestations. Having reached source of all wisdom contained in cosmos... I have but to concentrate on a particular topic and outpoured entire wisdom related to that subject. My all spiritual discussions are extempore. I am never required to refer to any sacred spiritual text. 

Self realisation experience is not something that could ever be expressed in words. One who reached end of cosmic journey remained in a state of bliss all the time. For a realised soul... the entire world became one large family. Self realisation can definitely be achieved while remaining in the family. While remaining in Grihastha ashram (family life)... pursuing spiritual path was much more difficult than for a bachelor like Swami Vivekananda. 

Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa gained self realisation while living in the family whereas Maharishi Ramana realized god... realized self while remaining a bachelor. Maharishi Ramana primarily followed path of self enquiry... path of Neti (not this, not this) for reaching God in present life. Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa initially took to path of bhakti but finally switched to path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom to gain self realisation... God realization! 

Self realisation... God realization could never be experienced via path of bhakti yoga or karma yoga. Path of bhakti yoga demanded total surrender to God Almighty which in the present material age was not possible. Following path of nishkama karma... offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time... serious aspirants of spirituality finally reached God in their lifetime. For a serious seeker of spirituality ego (Aham in Hinduism) had to be suppressed forever. 

Throughout my life I indulged in literature relating to Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana. Whenever I read anything about Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana I experienced... I was closer to truth than anything else! The sweet small inner voice of my soul atman that seemed to come from within my heart always told me to believe in teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana. 

By duplicating path taken by Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa... by undertaking path of jnana yoga from beginning of life, I finally succeeded in reaching God in present life. Since six years of age... my faith in God Almighty was absolute. I followed path of absolute truthfulness... always and ever! Not for once in the entire lifespan of 14 years of practicing celibacy did I ever speak untruth. As time passed by I slowly realized the potential of remaining truthful all the time. 

Most human beings failed to realize that self realisation... god realization could not be realized by assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita alone. We have to practice humility at its best. Surrendering our ego (Aham in Hinduism) on alter of spirituality in totality... we can definitely look forward to reaching stage of self realization... God realization in present life! Apart from following sacred teachings contained in holy books of Hinduism... we also had to be truthful all the time. How many people do we think were all the time truthful in life in this entire world? 

Lord Krishna... one would gave doctrine of Bhagavad Gita to mankind was a very humble person at heart. So were Mahavira, Gautama Buddha and Jesus Christ. Both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana had true love for humanity. Unless we catered to interest of community at large... one could never reach stage of self realisation... God realization! Most human beings wanting to reach stage of self realisation... God realization in present times only thought of self. How could such human beings be graced by God Almighty to become self realized... God realized? 

No matter how many hours we spent daily reading spiritual texts or praying in temples, churches or mosques... self realisation experience can only be exercised by working for entire mankind. For an ardent seeker of spirituality... it was welfare of community that mattered most all the time. I do not remember in my entire life if I ever cared for my individual self. Every second of my life... the welfare of entire community was my goal of life. Whatever best I could do for people at large... I always indulged in that. None could sway me from path of life I had chosen willingly.
